   great location, good food, good value. I just wish the waiter didn't rebut every order suggesting us to go for a pricier option.

   Food and service was just horrible. Started with waiter telling us he was going to “do us a favor” by taking our drink order. Very short staffed. So bartender running food and taking orders. Clam chowder. Ordered bowl, and got a cup and then waiter got snippy about replacing it. Tobacco bottle filthy. When clam chowder bowl delivered waiter sarcastically said Merry Christmas ! The Burrata and tomatoe salad. Not enough balsamic on it and not burrata, tough mozzella. Swordfish was tiny piece that difficult to cut and eat. Odd shape. Not like the normal filet. Prime rib just looked horrible. They put in the grill and poured au jous over it. So unappealing. Was very thin so didn’t even look like prime rib. Also fatty. And to top it all off my birthday soufflé was hard as a rock ! The ice cream was good. But honestly so overcooked. It was a Monday night and not enough staff and who knows who was cooking as it was so awful and plated so poorly. The bread and Prosecco very good. The cosmo was not made right as it didn’t remotely taste like a cosmo! To sum it up. Horrible, expensive and won’t be back!

   We made reservations months in advance. We specified that we would like a table near the water to watch the parade of lights. When we arrived, the restaurant was only about 20% full. They seated us inside, far away from the window or view of the water. We mentioned our request from our reservation to the hostess. She said she could not help us but told us we could go back to the entrance and talk to the people at the desk. My husband did, and they agreed to move us. Other than that oddity, everything else was fine. Food was just okay. View was great near the water.

   Went for a holiday dinner, but while it wasn’t packed—everyone seemed overwhelmed. No refills on anything, but especially water & coffee. Had to order second drink twice, never received bread for the table. We love it here, especially for special occasions and the holiday. Had a great time despite the challenging service. The food and view made up for the lack of service. I hope this is helpful, our server was kind—just in over their head a bit.

   We had a great dinner experience at Peohe's last weekend. We had not been here in a while and we are so glad we decided to come again. The food was delicious, the view of downtown SD from the bay was beautiful, and the service was top notch. We started out with appetizers, the avocado mango shrimp stack and the sashimi plate. Both were delicious and great starters for our upcoming entrees. They also served break, nice and warm straight out of the oven. My husband and I ordered steak, NY strip and prime rib, which came with mashed potatoes. These were also delicious. We ended the meal with the molten chocolate cake. The whole dinner, from beginning to end was absolutely fantastic.. Service was excellent! David was our server and he was very attentive, polite and professional. He took the time to read out reservation details from Open Table, wished me a belated happy birthday (it was in October but we celebrated in November) and also mentioned our upcoming anniversary in February! I've never encountered a server who paid attention to customers' details Outstanding! I highly recommend Peohe's for a romantic dinner and actually to celebrate any occasion. I saw large parties, comprised of adults and children, getting together for a nice dinner. We will definitely return.

   Usually one of our favorites.but this time the prime rib was an inexpensive cut. Very fatty and cold. Server was not attentive at all. Asked 3 times for aus jus and never got it.

    Great window table! Probably the best seat in the house. Beautiful view of the San Diego Skyline. I am disabled and require the assistance of a service dog. He got kicked and stepped on twice by staff, wait staff not paying attention. When we arrived one of the people seating guests commented on how cute my service dog was and then proceeded to step on his paw. Server couldn’t wait for me to get down the ramp with my walker, 97 year old mother and service dog so he cut me off and kicked the dog in side. Food was okay but everything was lukewarm or cold at best. Lobster bisque was minus lobster. Autumn salad was the warmest thing we had…go figure! Most everything we had lacked flavor. I think they ran out of spices and seasonings prior to Thanksgiving except for the Pumpkin Pie. The Pumpkin Pie was so heavily spiced that it was hard to eat. I would guess it wasn’t made in house. Normally we love eating here. We both said that we are going to celebrate upcoming holidays a day before or after so we can order off their regular menu.
