   Picaro is a culinary sanctuary. The setting is serenely beautiful and the food is divine. Every bite is remarkably fresh and full of flavor. Each dish is thoughtfully and aesthetically presented. Most of all, every member of the Picaro team makes a tremendous effort to ensure your dinner is a memorable experience - from the hostess that welcomes you at the entrance, to the general manager who not only remembers names but also a favorite glass of wine without asking, to the waiters and waitresses who deliver meticulous service with joy and kindness. And the sunset view is beyond compare!

   Service was not very good. Very slow! Servers were not familiar with dishes they were serving or breakdown of ingredients. There were kids running around and being loud. I would not recommend to anyone. It’s quite a distance out to get to the place and it can make it difficult to get a driver to then pick you up as well.

   The most beautiful venue in Cabo San Lucas. Food and service were exceptional. My only negative is that the menu selection is limited.

   Disappointed with the level of service for such a nice place. The hostess seemed more interested in ensuring we had 4 people in our party than greeting us. Presumably this is because they would charge us for any missing person per their reservation policy. The restaurant was largely empty when we arrived but still we were given a table with a poor view. The waiter, while friendly, was not trained for upscale dining. He regularly interrupted us and told us we must order in his order (not allowing the women to order first) and then said we must order both our appetizer and main at the same time as the restaurant is busy! The food while, visually appealing, was very under-seasoned. The jumbo shrimp were tough and difficult to eat as they seemed fused to the shells. The entres do not come with any sides and are not inexpensive. We ordered brussel sprouts which were literally uncooked; not under cooked. We will not be going back.

   I have read your comments and immediately try to understand what have happened. Obviously we need to talk with every single person of our staff in order they realized that clients are our main asset and that we cannot give such a bad impression that goes out of every single line of the quality of service we are pursuing. We sincerely ask you to give us the chance to correct this bad experience and please believe me when I say we do not charge for missing persons on the parties.

   Picaro is definitely worth the drive, just inside the entrance to the Solmar golf course and community. Our service was outstanding, led by Tahny, and a crew of others. Touches such as seeing a fly buzzing our table and bringing a spinning gadget to drive it away, even our waiter noticing a small bug had landed in my wife's wine, so he took it away for a fresh glass! The food was excellent- two of us had the catch of the day (grouper), well prepared, with braised beef short rib and pork shank the other entrees. We shared the tomato and beet salad, my wife and I adding the glazed sweet potatoes to our meal, the other two mashed potatoes and grilled onion, all delicious. We sat outside to watch the sunset, and the music playing in the background was pleasant and appropriate. The meal was topped off by sharing the strawberries with whipped vanilla cream, and the Basque cheesecake. We left full, satisfied, and happy for a great meal.
