   It’s good but not that good. I expected a lot from a Bib Gourmand place for pizza but I’ve had better pizza in LA and all over California. The pepperoni pizza was too salty and the croque madame pizza was not that special for the price tag. Good ambience though

   We dined here for the 2nd time, and it completely exceeded our expectations each time! This evening, our waitress was superb, recommending our menus perfectly and had us served and leaving right on time to make our show! 12/10!

   So disappointed of the service and food at Pizzeria Mozza LA. I was a loyal diner at Pizzeria Mozza Newport and when they closed we finally tried their sister restaurant in LA. The hostess was plain out rude and our waitress gave the same vibe. The pizza was soggy and the pasta was overcooked. I loved the Newport Beach location, their food was consistent and excellent, service top notch and Doug was a superior manager. I would not waste your time nor money here unless you want mediocre food and to be treated horribly!

   It was absolutely amazing. Love the pizza, love the ambience. I’m very well served by Delfina. Really recommend the place. Delicious pizza.

   To be honest, I’m a little disappointed in Mozza’s lack of focus on the dining experience considering that the price is on the higher end. Things have not been the same coming back from the pandemic. First of all, I usually go to the Newport location of Pizzeria Mozza but they recently suddenly closed although I am a long time patron. I made the trek up to LA because I love the pizza that much but was met with the dining experience that was disjointed. Unfortunately, I’d rather have a lesser quality pizza than to come all the way to LA for what feels like I am being treated like any corner pizza joint. It feels like Mozza just wants to take my money, give me my food, and have me leave. I have a few suggestion: First of all if I’m saying that I am celebrating something, then make the experience special. Secondly, I understand that there’s three different restaurants however, maybe you can accommodate some crossing of items since you have the same kitchen (like why do I have to end my dining experience and go to the To Gp window just to have cookies? Just bill me separate and bring them on a plate to accommodate. It would have been an easy way to make it sound like I was getting special treatment for something that is “off the menu”). Maybe it’s time to combine everything in the restaurants. It feels elitist to have the separation. Lastly, it feels like the menu is stagnant. There’s nothing that brings me to explore anything different or expect a new taste. It feels like the creativity is gone, and the chef’s who have started it. I’ve moved on to other things or sitting somewhere collecting royalties from this restaurant.

   Went on a Friday night, sat outside which is a bit of an issue if you don’t want to walk through an extremely busy alley with valet constantly driving down, to get to a restroom. The food was pretty good, had the mixed salad, meatball and Margherita pizza. Ingredients seemed fresh and the waiter was really nice. Dessert was also pretty good, had the hot fudge sundae. A bit overpriced for what you get.Ambiance outside feels like any outdoors seating during the pandemic and inside was fine, nothing special, but nothing bad about it either.

   Another excellent dinner at Pizzeria Mozza! My boyfriend and I love coming here and tonight we brought my parents out and they were blown away. Everything is always amazing including the service. Thank you Juan!

   The food was great. We love all 3 restaurants in the block and have visited many times recently. I would definitely recommend the food. The outside area also has a great ambiance. However, I'm writing this review because I was shocked at my experience tonight. We said we didn't want any dessert and asked for the check. Our server brought out a gelato with the check and said "you cannot leave here without trying our gelato." We thought it was a sweet gesture until we opened the check and saw that the server charged us for a kids' scoop. I would've gladly bought a dessert if he had told us it was a must-have. I am just shocked and disagree that he charged us for a dessert when we explicitly said we didn't want any dessert. I just wanted to write this review so other customers can be aware of this practice.
