   Food, service and location were great. We sat outside on the terrace by the street so there was some noise but that was part of the vibe of PCB! Nice experience

   Food was very, very bland. I got the mixed vegetables and rice and beans as my sides. I couldn’t eat either of them. The rice and beans tasted like tap water. The veggies were just mushy and overcooked with no seasoning. My entree of coconut shrimp was $33 and it was the worst meal I ate while on vacation. Our sign should have been that it was Saturday night and the place was empty.

   Service was not the greatest and the food was terrible. Not much flavor and even the texture was off. Other places nearby have been excellent. Will not be returning

    We dined off season (October)on a Wednesday night. The restaurant was pretty slow. The Host greeted us right away, friendly, big smile and kind. I ALWAYS appreciate a good greeting. Our server was also friendly and observant. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and then put in our entree order. We loved our boiled shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was a nice size and tasted fresh. Our server always asked how we were doing as she passed by. We loved the grilled grouper sandwich, and the blackened fish tacos. Overall, a great experience and great food. (There was a small delay with our entree, but our server was on it, apologized and went out of her way to right the situation, which is professional and appreciated.) Pompano Joe’s is a reliable and consistent restaurant. We really enjoyed sitting outside for a 7:00 dinner. The outdoor dining is really nice especially this time of year. The decor and lighting outside makes it a great beachy feel. Thanks for a great experience.
