    The food prepared by Chef Chris was delicious. We had the crab cake, Blackened New York Strip with Crawfish Etouffée, and White Rice, and a side of French fries. Our waiter Carson was great with suggestions, attentive, and very polite. We enjoyed it so much so that we are looking to host our next dinner party there. I highly recommend!

    This is a lovely restaurant. We came here for restaurant week and since it was January and further down the beach it wasn’t crowded at all on a Friday night. We sat inside but there are screened porches that would be nice in better weather. Our waiter was amazing and attentive. The cucumber martini was great. The mushroom bisque, shrimp and grits and cheesecake were all good.

    We had the crab cakes as an appetizer which was the best on the island. Our cocktails we perfect and great service.

    Must be fair to others but the shrimp and grits was mediocre. Grits were huge clumps. Far from real grits. Only three shrimp but they were good. I still thought that was a small portion of shrimp even though it was restaurant weeks. My husband had the carbonara and he said it was fair. I really hope they up their game because the view of spectacular the restaurant is very sweet for a Sunday brunch or even for an evening dinner

    Over the years the food and service at the Porch Cafe have varied enormously, from excellent to poor and everything in between. I’m guessing that’s why the place was almost empty on Friday night. It’s such a shame because the new chef is providing excellent food and the service is very good. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. The cocktails were great. My fish was beautifully cooked and served on vegetables with amazing and different flavors. Highly recommend the current Porch Cafe!

    We have eaten here many times but usually for brunch! Excellent menu for New Year’s Eve. Server was a little overwhelmed but handled it well. We will definitely return in the near future!
