   A table of 4 friends (2 couples) anxious to try the new restaurant in Hudson. We were all disappointed. The service was slow and our server was over worked. My wife ordered bourbon off the list and twice she was told it was not available. Our initial round of drinks were very slow in arriving. Our second round was slow to be ordered and also slow in arriving. The food was mixed. Two of us ordered fish and it was good. The other two ordered steak and both orders were cold. There was a relentless cold draft blowing on us from the ceiling. Our wife’s put their coats on to eat. It is a pub atmosphere with upscale pricing and mediocre food and drinks.

   Everything was excellent except the location of our table for 4. They shoved a table by the door leading to the restrooms at the end of bar and in the traffic area by the kitchen. No respectable quality restaurant should put a table in that kind of location with people going around us in every direction. I expected more.

   Food and drinks were great. But the noise level and the fact that you pay for bread downgrades the experience. We will not return, even if the food and drinks were great, until the acoustics issues are resolved.

   Absolutely the best food around. The cocktails are great too and every server and bartender are super friendly and knowledgable. Loved chatting with Nicole about Italy! Thank you All!

   Party of 4 on 11/27/24. Had 4 different meals all good. Two different steaks both overly charred but cooked to desired temperature. One veal parmigiana was excellent and huge portion. One gnocchi which was excellent the pasta was very light and very tasty. Focaccia bread appetizer and salads were spot on. Getting in and out of there booths is a challenge because of the design end where you get in and out - has a raised portion which is poorly designed. Getting a table next time.

   Food was excellent. Service was also top notch. A bit on the noisy side but to be expected at 6:30 on a Friday night. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back.

   Our server greeted us but never asked us if we wanted drinks besides water. I had to ask. We ordered the most expensive appetizer, the King Crab Bruschetta, at $25 and it came out totally cold. Someone at the table next to us ordered the grouper and I asked her how it was and she said it was ok, but ended up sending it back because the fish didn’t have any flavor and the sauce was bad. We ordered steaks, which were good. When our drinks were empty our server never came back to ask us if we wanted a second. The music is nice but way too loud. It’s hard to have a conversation. Overall, it was ok, but the level of service and execution expected for the price just aren’t there. They have a long way to go if they’re going to make it.
