Dear Sylvain, I wanted to share feedback about a disappointing experience I recently had at Prime 79. While the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, our interaction with our server left us feeling quite dissatisfied. After our dinner plates were cleared, we were approached by our server and asked to move to the bar area so he could prepare the table for a party of 12. This request came abruptly, while we still had drinks and were considering sharing a dessert. To make matters worse, none of the incoming party had arrived yet. Had there been people waiting for a table, we would have gladly accommodated the request; however, the rush felt unnecessary and dismissive. When I expressed my concerns to the server, his response was aggressive and defensive, asking if he should involve the manager. I opted not to escalate the situation further, as I didn’t want to cause a scene, but the interaction left a sour impression. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for your guests. While I’ve enjoyed dining at Prime 79 in the past, this experience has made me hesitant to return anytime soon. I trust that steps can be taken to ensure all guests feel valued and respected, regardless of table turnover needs. Sincerely, Neil Boulton

Service from Amal was excellent, prompt and caring but never intrusive. Calamari to start was excellent- lightly crunchy with a perfect sauce. The Halibut special was beautifully cooked (large portion too) with a delicious sauce. Delightful wine too! And the mousse for dessert was perfect.

Our server was lovely and was the best part of the experience. Food was bland, poor quality and dried out. We had the beet burrata and tuna apps. The steak was very tough, the halibut was dry, fish tacos was so dry 1/2 was left. The cocktails and wine we ordered was very good. The tables are too squished together. Music was so loud you can barely hear the conversation of your party. We will Not be returning or recommending for dinner. I would return to have a drink and listen to loud music.

Dinner last night was just great…. We had the Sea Bass & it was hot & delicious… 1/2 price bottles of wine 🍷 on Mondays is a terrific bonus….the ambience over all was just great.. very Christmas 🎅 … Uber works great when u have a bottle of wine 🍷..just saying.. we will be back…Linda👋🎅😀

Excellent service from Susie and other wait staff. The ambience was fantastic, liked the energy. Bread was amazing with warm olives. Steak was ok perhaps a bit salty. Halibut was amazing. Caesar salad amazing.
