   We had a birthday celebration and the staff did a nice presentation with a candle for the birthday boy! Food was excellent! The roasted chicken with tuscan beans was incredible. The lobster soup special was amazing. This is an excellent place to have a celebration.

   We celebrated my wife’s birthday with our family and the experience was unequaled anywhere ! The food and service were simply extraordinary! We could not be more appreciative to Charlie, David and the entire staff!!!

   We went with a group of eight people for the Anniversary Event and we all ordered off the special menu. Between all of us, we started out with the stamford landing roll, the salmon tartare, a couple of salads and the gnocchi for appetizers, then beef wellington, grilled port loin, and the branzino which were all cooked perfectly, and ended with the desserts which were all great as well. Service and ambience were also great... no complaints on anything!!

   Last time, the wonderful cheeseburger. This time, the sliced steak sandwich; not good. The steak slices were bathed in some kind of awful sauce which also soaked the toasted roll which, sans the sauce, was a wonderful roll. The french fries were coated w/cheese (sprinkled on) so were replaced w/standard fries. Oddly, the burger has regular fries. The onion soup has lots of cubes of meat; never had french onion soup that way and didn't like that either. Asked for the soup very hot and very crisp/burned on top. Didn't get it that way at all. The restaurant is a wonderful spot but disappointed in the food.

   we went for both a birthday and for the stamford restaurant week pri fix menu. everyone had different items and enjoyed them all. the portions were all very appropriate if not large size for the set menu so definitely worth the value. Everyone's order was cooked to their liking and the waiter was able to guide us on best options. they also made my birthday very special. Will definitely return.

    Had an incredible dining experience at Prime Stamford! From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and warm. The staff made sure every detail was perfect, making me feel like a VIP the whole time. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and expertly presented. The staff’s friendly and professional. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! Highly recommend.
