   Everything was amazing especially the food. The appetizer wasn’t too good but the main course delicious, i got the salmon and  asparagus and my Bf got the chicken and mashed potatoes which was soo good the chicken was tender

   This is my hobbie Going out to Restaurants and try there Steaks, Services and Price. I decided to go with my wife to this Restaurant for the first time as a date with my wife of 16 Years. First the service was minimal, had to alert waitress for for several times (Asian Lady). Second we ordered a Medium Well Portarhouse Dry aged 28 Oz Steak. Price was modest, I was expecting a nice size Steak but I was so disappointed, it came out medium rare!, we had to send it back for extra cook time. The flavor was way below I've ever tasted. Then when I went to pay at end of dinner the waitress said This is a tourist area it's a 18% automatic charge for tip. I was like WHAT!!!! First of all it was only a party of Two and second the service and food was Horrible. I will not return to this Restaurant... the only positive thing that happened while we was leaving we were in the elevator with the Director of Security he heard my wife and I complaining about our experience, he was very empathetic about our experience so he gave us a 4 drink complimentary for our next visit, greatly appreciated his gesture. I would make a better Steak at my home. Signing out The Fork!.

   Prime Met has become one of our favorite restaurants. Staff is lovely and the food is always amazing!

   My husband and I went to Prime Met Steakhouse & Rooftop Lounge for a date night on Friday, October 4, 2024 when I tell you this place is absolutely beautiful. It is located on the 12th floor inside the Renaissance Hotel in Flushing Queens. The rooftop outside area scene is breathtaking. We sat inside because it was a bit chilly that night our server her name was Ashley she was so sweet attentive and took care of us. We were very impressed. The food, the food the food we started our appetizers with these little popcorn chicken bites, which were divine. They tasted amazing with the complementary dipping sauce It came with. We also had the sweet chili wings, which were also delicious. That sweet chili sauce was so good. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller. My husband doesn’t eat seafood but I wanted to try the theirs which I had before in the past at another restaurant and I love them. However, these was a miss for me. I didn’t like the way that they prepared the Oysters. I felt like it could’ve been cooked a little longer to crisp up the breadcrumb and cook the spinach and cheese a little more and I would’ve liked a bit more bacon on the top. Our entrées my husband and I both had the New York strip. We ordered sides of mac & cheese, finger link potatoes, regular fries, asparagus. I wanted a lobster tail, but they ran out so the manager gave me a king crab leg split pretty decent size. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning to this location.

    Overall service was unprofessional and terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I made a reservation for 2:30 pm and arrived on time with my family. Although on our reservation, I listed we were there for Afternoon Tea, we received the normal menu and were ignored when trying to inquire about the Afternoon Tea menu. After a half hour of waiting, we finally got service from a different employee and explained we are here for Afternoon Tea. Without any communication, the waiter took our menus, apologized, and left. The website and social media share Afternoon Tea is between 12:00-4:00 pm on Sundays. A few moments later, we received the correct menu and were told we may not be able to order from this menu, then the waiter promptly left after we asked for more information. After further waiting, the waiter came back and told us the chef is not available and they were not expecting to serve so much Afternoon Tea today. This is regardless of our reservation, in the middle of their Afternoon Tea catering shift, and servicing other people the Afternoon Tea menu items, who arrived the same time as our party. On another note, the highlight of the restaurant (in addition to its food) is its gorgeous view of the city skyline, however when we asked to sit outside we were also told the rooftop area is closed until 4:00 pm. After spending nearly an hour sitting in the restaurant only to be refused service and ignored by the employees, our party decided to leave and eat (originally late lunch, now a early dinner) elsewhere. We will not be returning to this restaurant again.
