We came in late on Thanksgiving evening from out of state. They were kind enough to still serve us. The food was wonderful. Staff was very kind and gracious. We plan on many more trips to this area because our son plays for the cowboys. Will definitely be back!

Food is fair to good. Menu choices are very lacking. Caesar salad was bland and boring. Crusted chicken was good. Server was very good. Prices are ridiculous for what you actually receive. Not sure how this place stays open.

The food was not very good and the portions were way too small for the price. I got two pieces of ravioli for $14

The ambiance at the restaurant was very nice, comfortable, a very nice place. The wait staff was also great, courteous, prompt, and attentive. The food was a bit disappointing. We had bruschetta, the caico e Pepe, and a chicken pizza. The flavors were mild at best. Nothing seemed to have much flavor. This is the first time I have ever had bruschetta that didn’t have any balsamic vinegar. The caico e Pepe lacked flavor, pecorino Romano is a very strong flavored cheese and it just wasn’t there. The pizza also lacked flavor. I could taste the wood fired flavor on the crust, but the sauce was bland, the chicken was bland. Overall we were disappointed with the food. I will not be going back. I had high hopes for this place, but not did not deliver.

Had Thanksgiving lunch. Food was average at best. Not very warm. It wasn’t even busy. And the old Italian man did not provide very good service at all.

First, wrong bottle of wine came, it was quickly remedied. Second, our two appetizers took forever which we wanted to have with our wine. When they arrived, the hot app was luke warm; my husband got the manager who sent it back to be heated. In the meantime we ate the other cold app, and the manager delivered the reheated hot app. The wait person immediately appeared and cleared empty plates from cold app but took all of our utensils! We asked to keep our forks so we could eat the now hot app…wait person said new settings on the way! Settings never came, we took some from the set table next to us. At this point my husband was about to walk out the door. One of our long time waiters came to the rescue. We’ve been patrons for a long time. He served the main dishes we had ordered with the first server; mine was completely wrong! I had ordered chicken piccata and received Veal with prosciutto and cheese. I picked off the cheese and prosciutto and ate some of the overcooked really tough veal and the broccoli and fingerling potatoes. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area. I doubt my husband will ever go back. We eat out about 85% of the time. This was really sad.

I have always liked this restaurant, but tonight was just not great. The service left a lot to be desired and simple things like water and iced tea were not ever refilled. The Tortellini Fonduta and the Garlic Flatbread were both great, but the Spaghetti Bolognese was really just like crumbled hamburger and spaghetti. There was no sauce! It’s like all of the tomato sauce was forgotten and it was so dry. Also, it was barely warm. I would have told our waitress, but she never returned to our table until she asked if we wanted dessert. We even had to track and call over someone else to bring us some Parmesan for the main course. The other bummer is they have no bread at all to serve with anything that you order. When we originally asked our waitress about bread, she said she would see what she could do and try to bring us some bread that they make bruschetta with, but she never came back until dessert and never mentioned it again. It really seems crazy that Italian bread is not offered even to purchase. I even goggled about bread at an italian restaurant and this is what it said: “At an Italian restaurant, you get bread as soon as you sit down. This is a way to “keep you busy" while you wait for the main courses and also to calm your hunger with the most simple dish that you can have. Bread is always available on the table when you eat veggies or meat.” What the? Italia is even in the name. No excuse for that. With all the amazing Italian restaurants in DFW, I think I will venture out and find one that has a lot better service, serves the food hot, refills the non-alcoholic drinks, and has great bread as a staple item at their restaurant.
