Traditional 1940's specialist iconic bistro style restaurant, serving distinctive Punjabi North Indian home-style cooking. Our tantalising menu combines traditional Tandoori dishes with our Punjabi curry specialities that suit all tastes. The Acharri Gosht made with pickled lamb has to be experienced once in a lifetime, the Kadu Pumpkin Sabhji has a sumptuous mouth watering flavour and you can't miss our village vegan Tarka Daal. Fourth generation family owned, the Punjab features an eclectic & fun atmosphere with many historical images on the walls from framed receipts, family portraits, war medals & old menus. Mediocre but arrogant. If you take a credit card in advance and only hold a table for 5 minutes after the booking time, then you shouldn't be sending your guests home smelling as if they'd eaten in then kitchen.

Probably the best north Indian restaurant in London. Food is always delicious, well presented and nicely served. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

Best Indian food we've had. Ever. Butter Chicken was our favorite, but they were all good

The restaurant looks small from outside but is very large. They ask for a deposit when booking but it wasn’t busy when we went. We were seated under a pulsing light but were moved when we asked to be. Food was nice but nothing to write home about.

Late lunch at 3 so place was pretty empty. Food was excellent if a little pricey but it is central London. Would definitely go back.
