Puritan & Company, led by Chef-owner Will Gilson, serves modern American cuisine, with particular emphasis on traditional New England fare, and not without occasional excursions into other ethnic ingredients and styles. Our mainstays are ingredients sourced from farms we know and locally to the extent possible, and always a sense of fun.

Our dining room is a casual and fun place to dine. We love to share our excitement about the food and wine we serve like we would in our own home. Guests and their friends should feel comfortable in our friendly and even familial environment as we make our food and guest the number one focus.

                                                    The dinner menu was well-planned and I loved that the communal dining table of the original Herb Lyceum made its way to Puritan & Co.for this special dinner. We selected our own bottle of wine to enjoy with the meal, but i observed that people who went with the wine pairing were happy with that. Chef Andre's courses were creative and each element was thoughtful and surprising, but mostly delicious. Hoping this dinner becomes a regular feature.

                                                    Night was an Epic Fail. Food was tasteless and cold. When Sent back..came back over cooked. Staff were under attentive, and yet our server seemed to rushed us. For the $300+ "experience," it was a disappointment and an upsetting Valentine's Day. Never Again.

                                                    Friendly and tasty, although they forgot to bring one of our appetizers. The swordfish wasn’t the best thing I’ve eaten there, everything else was delicious!
