          Everything about this place is crowded, from the moment you walk in. There are too many tables for the space. We were seated at a 4-top at the top of the stairs. My chair got bumped every time someone passed by, whether other diners or staff. But the food was delicious!

          Very disappointing. I haven’t been here in years and everything has gone down hill. We were served our entrees after waiting 2 hours. Two adults and two kids. They never brought by daughter’s pasta. The gnocchi tasted like hard rocks. The polenta fries were dry and flavorless. It was so bad I don’t think we can ever go back. So many good restaurants in Chicago- don’t waste your time here.

          Absolutely horrible experience. This was my 5th time dining at Quartino, and I don't know what happened since last year, but I'm not coming back. The food was horrible, service was terribly slow (on a Sunday night) and they offered absolutely nothing to make up for it. If you want to wait 90 mins for subpar food that you could get at any Italian place or grocery in the city, by all means. If you're trying to have a nice dinner that's worth your money, save it and go somewhere else. This used to be our favorite spot in Chicago, but after this experience we'll never be returning.

          Service was below average. Waited 15 minutes before any server acknowledged us. While other tables had much more attentive servers. When we finally got a server she was good. Food was basic, pizza, buretta and fettuccine were delicious while the penne and linguine lacked flavor. Very loud and tight space.

          The wait staff were amazing. Our server gave great descriptions and suggestions for ordering. The family style service provided a great opportunity to taste and try a very tasty variety of starters and main dishes. We had a large group of 12-6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from about 17 months to 17 years of age. Drinks and food came out as they were ready and gave everyone plenty of time to enjoy. The venue has a warm and welcoming vibe in sync with the warm and welcoming staff. Looking forward to our next visit!

          Planned my proposal to my girlfriend. Amazing management team who was very supportive throughout the planning! Service was excellent and the food was definitely good!

          Overall a great experience. The restaurant is setup for high volume as the tables are small and very tight together. I understand packing the tables together to maximize the space helps earn money - it was a bit too tight for my personal liking- although I would return.
