   The server had no knowledge of what he was serving. My wife and I ordered the brussels sprouts, we asked was there any pork in them and he said no. Not once, but twice. This is not OK because neither one of us eat pork and on top of it, my wife is actually allergic to pork. My lamb shank was cold. It was just a mess. The overall ambience of the place is aesthetically pleasing, but it’s not worth getting sick over. Our Valentine’s night ended early due to the waiters negligence. We won’t be returning.

   The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The 2 person tables were too close together, so much so that you needed to push them together to leave your seat. There was a long lace tablecloth which continuously moved and almost knocked items to the floor. The scallops were delicious and the presentation pretty. The big disappointment was the steak. Quite expensive and so salty it was bearly edible. Wish this fine dining East Cobb restaurant experience was positive.

   The scallops were overcooked. The server was not very engaged to ensure we had a great experience. Never came back to see if we needed anything. It was disappointing as a previous experience was great.

   The food was overpriced and the selection was limited. Had lobster frabiablo. It was $48 and has very little lobster and lots of spicy pasta.My husband had lamb shank which was not good. Restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday night. I don’t think the menu suits the neighborhood hood.

   Arrived for reservation and was seated promptly. The server was immediately available for drinks and appetizers. The lobster bites and deviled eggs are really good. The entree dishes were seasoned well, presented well, and greatly enjoyed. The servers were responsive and on-point with everything. This is the 2nd time here and my guests want to make it a more frequent stop in the rotation. Highly recommend.

   This was my first visit but it was a great experience. I will definitely be back to visit the Tabern.

   Restaurant is beautiful. Staff is wonderful. I have been there 6 times for brunch and even though I always hope the next time will be better, the food is always slow to the table and is never hot. This includes the coffee that feels like lukewarm temperature. It is not due to a large crowd as for all 6 times, there were no more than 10 or 12 other patrons in the dining room.

   The food was great, drinks were great, the ambience and atmosphere were awesome. The time to wait for service was slow overall - though the staff was busy - so I’m guessing they were understaffed for a Sunday night.

    NYE pre fix menu was a joke. “Deconstructed”Beef Wellington was chewy meat in soup with a biscuit on the top. After I sent it back I was not offered the other appetizer. Chilean sea bass was decent but barely had any flavor on top of plain mushy white rice with too much salt sprinkled on top. I can’t believe I spent $250 on dinner and drinks and it was disgusting. Also was charged for a glass of wine I never received. Very disappointing. I had an excellent meal here a year ago. Really downhill now. Don’t let the beautiful exterior of the restaurant fool you into thinking it’s upscale dining.
