Everything was good service was great pricey but worth it on par with any other expensive restaurant I like the layout a lot better than Hell’s Kitchen Lake Tahoe doesn’t feel crammed in great experience

I make it a point to visit as many Gordon Ramsay restaurants as possible. Whenever I’m in a city with one, I make it a priority to dine there. As a huge fan of Hell’s Kitchen, I’ve come to expect exceptional service, which often compensates for any minor issues that may arise. Unfortunately, this particular experience fell short in that regard. We started with the crab cake, which was absolutely delicious—I thoroughly enjoyed it. For our entrées, we ordered the lobster, the 16 oz bone-in New York strip, and the potato purée, which was the only dish I hadn’t tried before. However, the service did not meet expectations. Our table was not cleared between courses as is standard, while the guests dining next to us received attentive service, including frequent check-ins. When our entrées arrived, the potato purée was missing. About a quarter of the way into our meal, our server stopped by and mistakenly asked if we were missing the brussels sprouts. We corrected him, confirming that it was the potato we had ordered and that we would still like to receive it. A few minutes later, he passed by again and reassured us that “the chef is working on it right now.” However, as we were nearing the end of our meal, he returned and asked, “The kitchen never sent it?” At that point, it no longer made sense to eat the potatoes without the rest of our meal, so we asked him to cancel the order. He simply responded, “Okay.” Typically, at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, when a mistake like this occurs, a manager or another staff member acknowledges it. That never happened. By then, we had lost interest in ordering anything else. While I love the sticky toffee pudding, we chose to take our business elsewhere for dessert. What was most disappointing was the inconsistency in service. It was clear that other tables were receiving a much higher level of attentiveness. We were polite, patient, and still left a $40 tip because we understand the importance of tipping. This was not a great exp.

We were anxious to try the new Ramsay's Kitchen, since we really enjoy fine dining, and there are few such restaurants in "The Biggest Little City". We were wary, though, of its location, right in the middle of the noisy "Row" connecting Silver Legacy and Excalibur. I asked for a quiet table, and they did the best they could, near the rear of the restaurant. Nevertheless, there's no escaping noise and loud music from the nearby casino. Before we arrived, the menu online showed us what to expect - pretty exorbitant prices. Even compared to the flagship restaurants in other casinos... for example: $59.95 for an 8oz filet mignon, and $26.95 for a half-dozen oysters is pretty expensive, especially with the very not-fine-dining ambience. Service, however, was exceptional. Our waitress and her assistants were all great. And since this was a birthday dinner for my wife, it was very nice that they offered a free dessert for her. For entrees, we chose two of the "signature mains". My wife had the seared scallops and I ordered the beef wellington. Sides are separate, and also pretty pricey. We felt the roasted heirloom carrots were worth it (leave off the harissa yogurt, it really detracts from the flavor). More than enough for 2 people. But as a 2nd thought, my wife unfortunately added the potato puree, thinking it would be just a smoother , less dense variation on mashed potatoes. For $14.95, that's perhaps the most over-priced item on the menu. It shouldn't even be considered a side!!! The same creamy soupy substance was used to decorate the plate of my entree. Flavor-wise, we enjoyed our entrees, though I've had better beef wellington at another Reno restaurant. The wine list is fairly short, lacking some varietals I'd expect to find along with such a high-end menu. For the free birthday dessert, we received the sticky toffee pudding, which was nice. I ordered the chocolate tart, which was not. Way too dense. Bottom line? We tried it, but won't go back.

Wonderful service from the bar staff who waited on our table until well past their closing time. Bryson was phenomenal! Much appreciated! Coolcumber summer drink creation by the other bartender was delightfully refreshing. Reno Ramsays Kitchen is doing it right!

We went for my sons birthday and the food was awesome. The beef Wellington was cooked perfectly. We had oysters , Parker rolls (probably the best dinner rolls we have ever had), the chicken wings and the Fillet. The fillet was cooked perfectly and the peppercorn demi was the best sauce on the dishes we all had. Our server Brandon was very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us pick out a few things and he was 100% correct on the items he suggested. Definitely will come back to eat again! If Brandon is available I would suggest him as your waiter. The menu is pricey but the whole experience was worth it!
