   Very pleased with the quality of the food! Very yummy, you can tell that real chefs cook here!! Interior was lovely too! Will definitely be returning 😌

   This was our first time at RapCar, a small but cosy restaurant. The food was delicious, very tasty I had the scallops an my partner had the prawns for our starters - beautifully cooked and presented. Our mains were jerk chicken and sea bass again lovely flavoursome food and the portion sizes good. I had a sorrel punch with rum and it was delicious full of flavour not like anything I’ve had before. My one small gripe is that I made my booking for the main room however when we arrived we were taken downstairs, with no explanation. Overall a good first time experience though.

   The food at RapChar is excellent. Unfortunately, the service is slack. The staff are polite but not attentive. Once you’ve been seated you’re left alone. Waiting staff passed my table many times, but after ten minutes of waiting I had to stop a passing waitress to ask for a drink. This was not a one-off. The last time I visited the service was just as lacking. There are also things that the restaurant should do better because it’s common sense. The food is piping hot, which is great. However there’s no provision made for the heat of the bowls. I had to use my napkin as a makeshift glove to lift a bowl of currygoat. If the food came with the appropriate spoon(s) the whole experience becomes simpler and more enjoyable. My guess vowed not to return. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal, but the poor service we experienced was enough for her to decide that she would rather be somewhere else with food not quite as good with good service. I’ll return because the food is superb, but if the service does not improve I may be forced to withdraw my patronage too.

   We won’t be Returning To This Restaurant! On Arrival we were told that we had a 2 hour slot our food finally arrived at 820pm . We got there at 655pm Staff apart from 1 were rude !!!

   I can't stop thinking about the food l had here. I visited 2 weeks ago with a friend and l ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY🤯🤯. Didn't know such restaurants still provided GREAT FOOD, beautiful atmosphere and customer service is very good. I have since recommended it to family and friends and they are just as impressed as l am. I need a loyalty card. The food is fresh, tasty, extremely moorish and l highly recommend to others if you want to impress a date or loved ones. Thank me later 🥰

    Enjoyed a first meal at RapChar, on a great recommendation and wasn’t disappointed! Excellent food, wonderful flavours, great service and fab presentations were all exceptional. The modern twist in presenting Caribbean flavours are fantastic. Will definitely return.
