   We've dined at Ray's on the River numerous times over the years and found this particular experience to be less than stellar. We have come to expect a fine dining experience from Ray's, based on our previous visits; however, the service this time around was poor. For example: 1) our first course oysters Rockefeller was excellent 2) second course soup and salad were delivered before we finished our first oyster. 3) bread arrived after 2nd course was finished 4) we ordered the 12 oz fillet and was served the 8 oz which we were charged properly for, however, we had to ask for steak knives 5) the request for salt provided an empty shaker 6) the technology used for payment errored out several times......... We came to raise to celebrate a special occasion and left disenchanted.

   This was my birthday/2nd time enjoying Ray’s on the River. Both times were fantastic experiences! I will definitely return in the near future. The manager made it right by getting a replacement for my salad that I requested to have my dressing on the side. We were not expecting to receive my meal covered. The service is always phenomenal! I definitely recommend Ray’s on the River!

   The experience here was great. I had a good time, the service was great, the atmosphere was great. I loved the Christmas feel, the crowd, the location, the amount of food you get, and the taste. My only complaint is that I could not get a well-done steak. There are few restaurants I visit that can cook a well-done steak that has no pink in the middle, still has flavor and juice, and isn't too charred. Ray's could not do that for me. But the medium-well steak my cousin requested was perfect for her. She was absolutely engulfed in the taste. I did like the flavor of my steak, but I could not eat it. So that put a damper on my experience, but it did not ruin it. Our desserts were delicious, and the drinks were on point. So, for steal lovers who do not require a well-done steak, you will be very satisfied. I was satisfied with my overall experience. It's a nice place for those of us who want a nice place to dine with great food and service but not looking to spend $200 or greater. You will spend $100 if you want to eat a nice meal and drink. Just know that, but it was worth the experience.

   As usual Ray’s never disappoints and has been used for celebrations in our family for at least the last 22 years. Salmon Oscar was to die for, first time trying it. My daughter and her fiancé shared the peppercorn New York strip which was a little too hot in spice to their liking and a bit cold in temperature but the restaurant was very busy and we were on a time limit so we did refrain from making a complaint. The sides were enjoyable and appetizer were had so no one went hungry. The restaurant was quiet and enjoyable until a party was sat near us who were very loud and a bit disrespectful to all around them. Otherwise fabulous dinner.

   Another great experience at Ray's! Our Server, Luis, was outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent, the drinks/cocktails were fantastic. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

   Always a pretty view and a place for friends from out of town to see the river. Still classy and food, service and ambiance was nice. Would recommend.

   We had 2 servers, but still had to wave one down for a drink refill. We were only checked on one time total, and that was after it took 25 minutes to get our meals. I was very surprised with the lack of attentiveness at what is supposed to be a top notch restaurant.

   Went to Rays on the River to celebrate my daughters graduation from Georgia Tech. Hands down one of the most amazing meals we have ever had. Service was OUTSTANDING. Food was delicious! Thank you for a memorable evening!
