Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.


Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

    me and partner have been eyeing this place up for a while and finally decide to come in and we’re so happy we did! from the service to the food everything was amazing. we ordered the USS oregon platter but had the sides swapped for something else and the waitress serving us was more than happy to help accommodate to what we wanted changing. the platter was delicious and bursting with flavour!

    Service was fast and pleasant. The staff seemed to genuinely get along which was lovely to see. Had the philly cheeseburger and fries - very filling!

    I dined at red dog for lunch with my friend earlier today and it was just what we needed, the food was cooked well and everything seasoned perfectly. We got two cocktails that the bartender recommended, an espresso martini and a coffee margaritas- both were lovely and nice and cold. Would definitely eat here again and will recommend to friends!

    When we went we the only people there for about 20 mins so drinks and food came quickly, for the price of the food was a little disappointed the bbq was good although for the price of £24.50 I would like more than 1 slice of brisket and the fries for £5.50 were disappointing as were the pit beans for £7.50! The texas toast was not hot or did it look cooked just shown a grill the slaw in my opinion lacked flavour. Not sure if this experience was due to it being a mid week lunch but for a total of £88.00 I would expect a little more.
