   I was unaware they had a special buffet for Thanksgiving when I made the reservations on open table. I am not from the area so I chose this restaurant based on the reviews. We all agreed we liked the shrimp cocktail, the raw oysters and the stuffed mushrooms. However the salmon and turkey both were overcooked and all of the other sides were just ok (except for the rice which was undercooked). The service was good and it seemed like a lovely place to take my family. We made the best for it but for the money I could not recommend this place.

   First bad experience here. Has gone downhill or just a bad night? Service was poor. Went on a Saturday night, not busy at all to start. We ordered oysters, they were out. Someone ordered salmon, they were out. Someone ordered the stuffed chicken, they came back 30 minutes later stating they ran out. The excuse was that the chef was new and didn’t order enough? We ordered apps and dinner. It took forever for food to come out. When my steak came out, my asparagus side never came. My friend ordered his steak rare, it definitely was not. There was never any apologies, there was never any concern for all the mishaps. Other quality restaurants would have comped something for all the issues. I don’t see this restaurant as a go-to place anymore which is sad because they use to be a great place. For a meal more than $350 for 4 people, the overall experience was poor.

   Overall the food was good, we ordered the porterhouse for 2, ribeye, & salmon. The only thing that was lack luster was the service. Our waiter left without saying anything and we were waiting for the check for about 30 minutes. Finally another waiter noticed we were waiting to leave and helped cash us out.

   The food was acceptably good but not much beyond. The NY strip wasn’t up to snuff but that was only complaint, per se. Surf and turf tasted good but pretty petite. Biggest issue for us was a very inexperienced lead server who didn’t know or care much about specials, pushed back on switching one potato side dish for another, and seemed slow to bring entrees, check, run credit card, etc. Still, a largely pleasant evening. Staff generally upbeat and attentive, pretty happy all-around vibe.

   First time dining for dinner. Decor was much better than pictures. Gave a high end feeling. Some confusion on who the server was left Is waiting about 10 minutes before being offered a drink. Ordered the calamari and the wrong one was brought out. Lots of confusion and clarification by server when ordering so not surprised that wrong one served. Mixed reviews on the food quality. My biggest complaint was although we waited 10 minutes for being initially approached, we were completely through drinks, appetizer, and dinner in 1 hour. Everything felt rushed. The table next to us turned 2x’s in the 2 hours we were there. We stretched out the last half of our dinner with coffee and more wine. This restaurant would have been a 10 out of 10 in 1990. We will not be returning.

   Service was outstanding. We had the filet and the prime ny strip. Both steaks were prepared perfectly. It was our first time here and we had a really enjoyable night.

   Red Fox does not disappoint. The food is always great and the service as well. Harry was an awesome waiter.

    Fantastic experience. They just launched a brunch menu for Saturday and Sundays, which we ordered from. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was impressive. Their drinks menu was inventive, and I had the Red Fox Martini which was delicious. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which was the best I've ever had in my life bar none. The dishes were delicous and looked beautiful. I will absolutely be back, this is a hidden gem for sure.
