   Food and our server Carlos were phenomenal. Otherwise we did not feel welcomed. It was Friday night and not crowded and we were continually berated for “being too loud”. We came here thinking it would be a fun night out.

   This restaurant was AMAZING! All of it from the ambiance to the music, the service and the food! Not the place for a quiet dinner but it was a fun place with delicious food! A must if you’re coming to Miami!!!

   A wonderful dining experience ! We shared two appetizers, the corn bread and deviled eggs that were absolutely delicious. We shared the perfectly cooked oxtail in a rich, flavorful sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant with a fabulous ambiance and exceptional service. Pedro was very attentive !

   We came here several years ago and it was phenomenal. On our revisit, it fell short. We were asked to wait 20 minutes past our reservation despite there only being 3 other tables sat at the restaurant. The roof was leaking in several places but the staff appeared unconcerned to the point of sitting others underneath active spills. The other table was moved only when other diners pointed out the active leak. The menu is much smaller than before which was disappointing. The staff was thoroughly uninterested in being there. Multiple confusions over our drink orders ensued with little care to correct the mistakes. We started with the deviled eggs, wings and cornbread. They were all fine. Not great. For our mains we had a double order of fried chicken, the corn, Mac n cheese and coconut rice. The fried chicken was great as were the pickles. Everything else was just ok.

   Arriving very aggressive guy charged $30 to park in a muddy lot. Walking in the restaurant it was very cold to the point it’s uncomfortable. I ordered the Overtown fish/ shrimp over oxtail rice. Very tasty. Literally had one small piece of oxtail in the rice with 3 fish NUGGETS and 4 small shrimp. This meal is very over priced it’s not worth $40. Mac and Cheese and the wings was very good. The Collard greens was not tender and lacks flavor. Overall I was very disappointed. I expected a lot more.

   Not the best had to wait almost 45 after the RESERVATION time ended up sitting at the bar. Food was really good though and so was the entertainment.
