It is our goal to have our menu derive from fresh and local seasonal ingredients from Hudson Valley and New York area. By supporting sustainable practices, our guests have the pleasure of experiencing what farm to table dining is about and offering a new take on American Cuisine. Bear Mountain Inn invites you to our NEW Santa Brunch experience located in the Restaurant and Perkins Ballroom. Seatings: 10AM-12PM & 1PM-3PM Adults $48, Children 4-12 $21.95 and children three and under are free. Photos with Santa: Located in the first-floor ballroom opens after he does his introduction at the Brunch. A few changes this year: Santa will not hand out gifts to children any longer. Photos only. Please do not bring a gift. A Souvenir Ticket is presented to each child with a free Carousel Ride. No re-entry to Brunch once you leave for Santa. Cancellations: Full refund is required by email by Wednesday at 4pm prior to your reservation. Less notice or no show will result in a 50% fee for each person charged to your card on file.

We were there for Brunch with Santa. Food was very good and they had a good variety. Place is big yet feels cozy. Had a great time. It was well worth the money. Good memories were made!

Year 3 of coming here for breakfast with Santa. 1. Paid for parking which is normally comped by the restaurant 2. Previous years you would give wrapped gifts so Santa can give to the kids. Nope Santa wasn’t given gifts this year. Try explaining that to a seven year old. 3. Our seating was at 1pm. I went up at 1:10 for food. Food was COLD!!! So I had a bagel and fruit for $48! 4. Told at 2:15pm Santa was leaving at 3pm! Didn’t even walk around tables. Had to go downstairs and wait in line to see him. Overall worst breakfast with or without Santa whichever way you look at it!!!

We attended the breakfast with Santa event this Sunday, and we had the most magical time! The food, the people and service were all outstanding. The ambiance is so amazing for Christmas time. Santa was so sweet and patient with our girls.. when we took a picture with him at the end, all of the people in the room treated us like it was truly our own personal visit with Santa, and they encouraged us to take a lot of different photos with him. He gave my girls an adorable little gift, one of them being a special coin for my baby’s first Christmas. We can’t wait to come back again!

Holiday brunch at this historic place was pretty perfect. The ambiance, surroundings, view, fireplace, and very good food made it so.

Ambience excellent but waitress messed up our check and we had already paid .she was rude about it even though it was her fault and took a good 15 minutes to straighten out. It kinda put a damper on the day and we toured the grounds to potentially book our wedding there. We had just told the waitress this good news as well . She did even act happy for us no emotion . Front desk was also not very friendly made a comment when my fiancé called the cafeteria the cafeteria “thing “ and the lady stopped her conversation with other front desk staff laughed at him and corrected him that it was only called the cafeteria not cafeteria thing . He was yelling the comment to me as I went into the bathroom of where to meet him wasn’t even talking to her . Another staff member was complaining how it was only Thursday loudly It’s so sad it’s so beutiful but place needs a more professional staff .

Brought some of my children and grandchildren to the Santa Brunch at Bear Mountain. There were 11 of us in all and the food and drink had something for everyone, what a spread! And all of it delicious! No complaints from anyone. It was decorated beautifully, roaring fires, lovely. Everything was great ESPECIALLY SANTA, he strolled among the tables talking to everyone, spent time with all the kiddos. He was an awesome, amusing gentleman. Took pictures, no rushing. What a pleasant holiday experience for young and old!!!

This was greatly improved over last year. The food was really great. We liked that Santa came to each table. The line to see him afterwards was very long and I am wondering of maybe people could be called by table. We also liked that a merry-go-round ticket was included. There was confusion about the gift, which we needed last year (and didn't have) and didn't need this year (which we had). When we made the reservation on open table, it said we needed a gift. We pretended that Santa dropped them off at our table but I liked when Santa gave the families their gift last year. The buffet could use some crackers (for the cheese) and a few more kid friendly desserts. Overall It was an excellent experience and we would definitely go back. We also go for father's day and it is always a nice experience. Bear Mountain is beautiful.
