Excellent service! It was quiet when we arrived at 5:00PM A server gave us menus and asked for drink orders. We ordered drinks and told our server that we were expecting a third person. He answered our menu questions but was fine waiting for our orders until our guest arrived. What was even more unexpected but very welcomed: He did not rush us at the end of our meal when we realized we had at least 30 minutes before we needed to walk down the street to the Freight. It was pouring rain and even though the restaurant was busy, he encouraged us to stay until we needed to leave.

I have had many lovely meals at Revival, but I do wish that something could be done to reduct the noise level, which defies conversation.

The server was great, but kitchen got backed up. Our apps came right away and then… nothing. This put the server into the unhappy position of having to explain and try to fix it. When food arrived it was excellent, but we were about to miss the first act of a play and had to pack it up to go. We allowed 90 mins for dinner, and next time I would allow 2 hours for pre-show on a Saturday night.

Pumpkin risotto appie delicious. Wild salmon entree very good. Green beans a bit al dente. Smash potatos no crispy exterior. Steak very good. Squash had charred burnt pieces- acrid taste. Service was excellent.

We went before a show at Freight and Salvage. Even though we were 15 minutes late for our reservation, the waiter was very aware of the time issue and had us in and out in an hour. We shared the pomegranate and endive salad. I had the salmon and my husband had steak. All of it was delicious.

Fab dinner at Revival B&G. We were 4-top And both I and 1 other both had the pomegranate salad & the duck wing appetizer & I also has a shrimp cocktail. All were excellent. My wife and another person duck dinner We shared the fruit crisp. All were delish. Best of al, Amy came out of kitchen to say hi! We live revival bar & Kitchen!

Our party of six enjoyed the meal. Nice retro decor. There was something for everyone, was the comment. Nice warm reception and prompt seating. Good waitress, but a mixup, as I did not receive my salmon dinner, which my friend said was delicious. But I tasted the kale salad, okay not not great, under-seasoned. Also the Duck confit, excellent! Also the pumpkin kambucha pizza, excellent! We were all satisfied, but the red wine was not up to par. Tasted the Cabernet and the Italian red, served the Italian, a generous pour, but not great, left a pucker in my mouth. Suggest expanding the reds by the glass. We will definitely return. Close to Berkeley Rep and Freight and Salvage.

Staff (Christian especially)were excellent. Food good but not great. We had the salmon burger special and shrimp salad. Homemade potato chips were bland. This restaurant is very convenient for the Berkeley Rep. only half a block away which keeps me going back.
