   this is the first time i have tried an RH restaurant and i had an amazing time. the montecito location is a very sophisticated space with a great ambiance. food was fairly good. i had the ceaser salad and my boyfriend ordered the sandwich with au jus (i forget what it was called). will most likely be back when i am in the area. all of the workers including waitress, host, and valet, were very personable :)

   Great location in Montecito charming outdoor seating with fireplace limited menu but excellent preparation. Salted caramel ice cream is fabulous.

   The restaurant was beautiful. My guests and I were excited to try RH as we had not had the pleasure of dining there before. Overall, the service was attentive to begin with but it became spotty during our experience. We never were offered additional beverages and I was hoping to have another glass of wine with my steak. After the meal was finished many of our plates sat dirty for well over 20 minutes. We finally requested another server to bring us dessert menus. After dessert again sat for a long period of time without our server ever returning. We again asked another employee if they could bring us the check. We never saw our server. Perhaps her shift ended? It felt very disconnected, we did not feel our business was valued, nor did we feel very attended to. The food was great though one of my guests felt her steak sandwich was very fatty, more than actual meat. My other guest raved about her shrimp and veggie dish. The lobster roll with caviar was a big hit with our table. The food was good but we did not leave wanting to return. Perhaps this with due to the level of service but we may not return, sadly.
