Sorrento is no longer there, this review is for Al Solito Posto which is in its place. This is our second visit here and it hasn't disappointed. The food is generous to say the least, and really good. The owner/chef/waiter is great, very friendly and helpful. We went on a rugby day, so select menu which is understandable. But we'd been before and had the liver to start which is out of this world. When they took our order my husband mentioned it was a shame the liver wasn't on, they explained about the limited menu due to rugby, took our order. Next think the waiter returns and said the chef has said he can do liver for you. Amazing stuff. We ended up having a little dance in there after what was a fantastic meal. I can't recommend highly enough, we'll definitely be back

Our experience was rather poor as unfortunately we visited on an evening when there had been a rugby match on at Twickenham Stadium and there was a group of supporters in the restaurant and although they didn't behave particularly badly they were very noisy and in a small restaurant made it worse. Maybe will try it on another evening as the evening we went would not have been particularly representative.

we went for our anniversary. food delicious especially linguine crab ! we finish with homemade pannacotta and baba' to die for! High raccomended ,friendly and family restaurant,nice staff. our favorite place good job!

Family run friendly restaurant with a limited but good menu. The Manager said he had just taken over from the previous owners a week ago. I had the Bruschetta starter which was tasty with plenty of tomatoes and then a home made pasta dish with strips of fillet beef which was certainly a good sized portion with a well flavoured tomato sauce, followed by a good sized panacotta with berries. We had just come from the rugby at Teickenham and we're all very hungry and this certainly ticked all the boxes being friendly unfussy Italian food. The decor is simple but adequate and with a nice ambience but they do need to fix that stUghty front door which didn't shut properly and people were constantly getting up and down to shut it! If in the area again I would certainly return there to eat.

The pasta dish some of us ordered was quite bland, the risotto and steak were average. One of the waiters struggled with his English so kept having to call someone else over when we asked for anything. The other staff were friendly and helpful and the service was timely.

Booked the restaurant for a family meal prior to going to a rugby match at Twickenham. Was not aware until we arrived and were seated that there was ONLY a single "4 course" menu available @ £49.95 per head. At this stage too late to change the venue. Very poor value as one of the courses was chips or a salad! Would have been reasonable @ £29.95. Beware match day limitations.

Went for the England vs Argentina rugby game. Set menu of £49.95 for four courses, one course was a side dish. Too expensive. Polite and friendly staff although very stretched as the restaurant was very busy. Food. Not sure what the quality is like on a normal day but it was to be honest terrible and at a cost of nearly fifty quid not acceptable. We were a table of 6 and were all in agreement. Arrived midday. Left at 2.00pm to get to the game without having deserts or coffees.

Busy small restaurant. Menu selection is small but we all tried something and we all thought the food was beautifully cooked. Service was friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.
