   You won’t be disappointed, wide range of fish dishes with top notch ingredients, service and ambiance. Actually went for beef wellington, although the most expensive main course it was a dream - not going to be able to eat it anywhere else! Tables fairly close but somehow you’re not aware of your neighbours. Great place to people watch the bar from the floor. Staff are friendly but approachable. Would return again and again.

   Met friends for breakfast/brunch. Service was friendly but slow. Food was amazing but, as to be expected a touch expensive. Coffee was delicious although personally I prefer it hotter. Staff were accommodating when asking us if we would mind moving from our table after we had finished our meal so they could set up for lunch, they found us another table and moved all our drinks etc for us. The place is classy without being pretentious and decorated beautifully for Christmas. It has become a bit of a tradition now for my friends and I to meet there pre-Christmas to exchange gifts and catch up and we would not hesitate to return next year as our annual treat.

   Great restaurant, beef wellington was amazing, great service, great ambience. Might even prefer it to the grill.

   Beautiful setting, wait staff couldn't do enough for me and because I was dining alone, made sure I didn't feel abandoned - or overly smothered either! Food is pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Heavily leans into seafood but there are a couple of non-swimming options! Dessert was to die for!! Overall, for a treat, it's perfect.

   Very disappointed. It took an hour to get the first course, Oysters arrived at room temperature, scallops were cold and they didn’t deliver the correct other dish. Main courses were underwhelming and not worth it. Food was OK, but not what you’d expect from a Ramsay brand. Service was terrible, only slightly made up by discounts at the bill.

   An absolutely lovely evening at The River in The Savoy. The staff were great and welcomed me by name then we were shown to our table. Throughout the evening the staff were extremely attentive and kept our drinks flowing. The food was delicious - I would even say it was one of the best meals that I have had. After dining at the Las Vegas Hells Kitchen, I did not think I would find another restaurant that could match the beef wellington - The River certainly did! - I would highly recommend the beef wellington. The starters were lovely as well and only one member of our party managed a desert but he loved the sticky toffee pudding. This definitely a restaurant for special occasions and we can't wait to return. Great staff who make you feel special and lovely food.

    We had a lovely meal and a superb bottle of Santorini wine . Service was excellent the staff where all very polite and made you feel welcomed .
