   It's a really nice place with a great atmosphere, but it's a bit noisy. The food is good but expensive for what's on the plate. However, the service is very good and the staff take great care of their customers.

   Food and service okay, but to inform us at our arrival, that we only had the seating for 1 hour snd 15 minutes and then give us the bill before even askibg for it at the end of our meal , was very unsatisfying compaired to the amount of money we spent.

   Firstly it was the first time going to the restaurant and there was a delay for the food coming to the table. The person tending the table gave apologies and said she won’t charge for our desert and our desert would be free due to the delay. The food was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen so the person tending the table she told us she won’t charge for the veg and drinks. By the time we asked for the bill she then claimed that she couldn’t do all that she promised to do as the manager said charge for one but don’t give two free. When the bill came it was over £145 pounds and we are still trying to justify what the price was for, the service charge was abomination and we paid 46 pounds for a piece of fish. The chips was cold and we were told them we only want one of which they charged us for two ( see receipt) to be honest can’t see why the fuss was about regarding this restaurant, very hard to determine what the food was in respect to country, was it French? As there was not a French man or woman on site. Very overrated restaurant and can only assume that some of the customers don’t know about good food. Won’t be going back there again.

   The drinks were as expensive as a main course. It was the one thing that put a negative on the experience.

   This was our second visit to Riviera and we were disappointed compared to our first visit. The food was lukewarm when it arrived and the steak was very tough so we sent it back. We were not offered any reduction to the bill which was disappointing as it is an expensive restaurant.

   We had a wonderful lunch at the Riviera. Had 3 course lunch meal and everything was perfect!

    Though the head waiter was terse and abrupt, Victoria was warm and attentive with good attention to detail The food was pricey but moreish !
