    We consider Riviera one of the most reliable places to spend a special evening for dinner or just grab a cocktail and tasty bite with friends. Sitting at the bar with the great Mr. Flood and his crew is our preferred way to experience the Riv. This visit was probably our best food experience over several years of visits (beef tartare keeps on getting better, hamachi crudo a fresh expression, ravioli doppio sublime, and quality of strip loin incredible). Special thanks to Alida who served us and developed the delicious cocktail I enjoyed for dessert.

    I was a bit disappointed, I had high expectations going in as this was a top 100 restaurant but the pastas I had were mediocre. The truffle gnocchi tasted like nothing which is not what you want when it cost $40. The appetizer and dessert though were fantastic and the service was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. The ambiance was beautiful. Unfortunately will most likely not return.

    We had an excellent quiet pre-Valentine dinner! Food and wine were great. Servers, as always , were very attentive and friendly throughout the evening! The personnel is really working as a team!

    The server was very nice, but the food was not that great. For example, the mushroom toast had a reduction that was a bit watery, and the main dish (pasta with rosemary) had way too much rosemary. It felt like I was eating a branch from my Christmas tree since rosemary is such a strong and HARD spice. Honestly, it was very disappointing, and I doubt they’ll make it. I recommend going to The Village in Wakefield instead; you’ll have a much better dish and overall experience. Sorry, but not sorry!

    They went out of their way to help me arrange a very special surprise for my wife for Valentine’s Day. Service was excellent and food amazing as usual! Classiest place in town!
