   We first arrived the reception was very nice but they only had three tables for two. Two near the door and the other in a very loud corner because of a large table with very loud people. The music was very loud as well. We moved to the bar and the night got much better. The bartender Dawn was awesome. There were two bartenders and she was doing 90% of the work. The food was great as was the value and the rest of the experience. We would go back again and sit at the bar. Very nice night for New Years Eve. Thank you Roadhouse.

   Our experience was wonderful . We had such an accommodating staff who made sure we were comfortable where we were seated and the noise level was not too much for my husband who wears hearing aids . Our waiter gave us plenty of time to enjoy our well crafted manhattans before taking our order . We split a wedge salad to start and enjoyed our delicious entrees of chicken piccata which had just the right amount of butter caper sauce and was perfectly cooked and scallops and risotto which my husband said was the best on the Cape .We ended the evening with a pistachio martini which was delicious ! All in all we enjoyed this experience and love the live music as an added incentive to come back .

   Roadhouse Cafe was excellent. Everybody working there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was on point. The seafood fra diavolo was super fresh. The filet mignon was as food or better than ANY specialty steakhouse - terrific char and sear and perfectly cooked through. A terrific meal....

   Xmas eve reservations. Were not told there was only prix fixe menu until after we had been sitting at table for over 20 minutes. Server did not know we were in her section until we flagged another waiter down. While there was plenty on the regular (unavailable) menu, nothing appealed to us or would have worked on limited menu due to shellfish and egg allergies. All of this could have been avoided by a note on website, open table or even a mention by the host as he seated us. Terrible management.

   Cape Codders are so happy to see the Roadhouse Cafe back to life. Up until the COVID Pandemic, The Roadhouse was a go-to for so many who wanted quality food at reasonable prices and a hometown ambiance served by a professional and friendly staff. Roadhouse performed an exceptional job for a busy Christmas Eve Dinner Service. We only wished the Holiday menu was mentioned on the website but nonetheless, the entrees and appetizers offered were quite good! The clam chowder was as good as ever and for me, a Cape Cod #1. Whether it was prime rib or lamb or the stuffed chicken breast, we all enjoyed our Christmas eve dinner. Our server was personable and conscientious allowing for a relaxed, no-rushed service. I do believe the next time I go, it will all be a 5 star experience and the only reason for one less star is because of the holiday which limited the gastronomic experience as well as attention to the personalized preparation. I am looking forward to enjoying many more celebrations and dinner engagements at the Roadhouse.

   Unfortunately our experience was terrible. It was a pre fixed menu for Christmas Eve We were there to celebrate my Sister just getting engaged. The drinks were slow to come out, the server came to ask what our dessert choices were and we had not received our main courses. When they came out they were cold and mine was incorrect. No apologies at all for the level of service.

   We were not told it would be a prix fixe. Service was nice but extremely slow. The rezzies were over booked for staff and kitchen had much difficulty. Will go back on a less crazy night.
