   Nice venue with lovely views over the Harbour. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was nice but both fish courses were a little over cooked. Service was quite slow or you could say, we weren’t rushed! Only a small selection of wines by the glass and mine could have been better. I would certainly go back but maybe not for a while.

   Came today to celebrate my friends birthday. From the moment we walked in ,staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Food was absolutely lovely. The ambience was great. We will definitely be returning.

   Always a pleasure to eat here, Sunday afternoon late sitting is best as you never get rushed.

   My wife informed staff that she was Gluten and Dairy intolerant but received her main course with butter in it. All other guests enjoyed their food. Service was slow and this probably helped our decision not to order any sweets.

   Booked a table for 4 as an early Mother’s Day celebration weeks ago. On arrival, no table of four was available (had a makeshift table because they weren’t ready for us - only table of 4 in the bar restaurant had a couple sat at so someone sat them in the wrong location as other tables of two were available). Food and drinks ordered no worries at all. Two plates of food arrived, no further plates for the kids. Had to chase for the kids food. One order incorrect and had to be sent back. Actually turns out we were given someone else’s food hence only two plates arriving and the kids sat waiting. Offered drinks to compensate and then the entire meal was complimentary. Third visit and won’t be back!! Only visited a second time as given a voucher after our first visit and husband was the sickest he has ever been!! This place is all about location. There are better places to spend your money. Only offered 5 starts as we didn’t pay.

   We had the most fabulous fabulous lunch today. There were 4 of us and each one of us thought our meal was outstanding. I especially want to say how good it was. I have so many allergies and intolerances and my meal was made to be every bit as delicious as theirs whereas I normally end up thinking I might as well have stayed at home and cooked as I usually end up with something very bland. I don’t remember the last time I had such a lovely meal. The fish is stunning even the dairy free ice cream was the creamiest I’ve ever had. We all had fish and seafood and it was a special meal Definitely recommend for the location, the service, the restaurant decor as well as the outstanding food we will be back and will remember the meal. Went for a lovely stroll along the harbour arm after which was also great!

   Had a wonderful meal last night at Rocksalt. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. Our holiday had been cancelled due to the Heathrow outage and they gave us each a complimentary glass of champagne which I thought was really lovely touch and sweet of them 😊

   We always love coming to Rocksalt, especially for the seafood and the wonderful ambience. Lovely cocktail list, too. Children’s menu is a bit meh, would be good to push the kids to be a bit more adventurous! But honestly, this place is a gem.
