   Great food and ambience, and service. It was lacking a bit of an authentic Italian atmosphere, but otherwise highly recommended.

   We had a lovely evening at Roma celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary. Thankful we had an early booking at 6.15pm, couldn’t get in at a later time that suited. So an earlier booking allowed us to settle in before it got too busy. We had a wonderful waitress attend to us, promptly and who was amazing. Her name was Pen (I think). She was delightful. Once settled and looked after I watched Pen do her job behind the bar and she did not stop. From then on other staff were very attentive and met our needs, while Pen worked flat out behind bar. My husband devoured his gnocchi with gusto , was delicious, while I found the porchetta a little overcooked and dry. Saving grace was the fatty edge with the crackling to put together along with a side of broccolini. But not what I expected with the porchetta. Dessert was amazing and very large serves. My husband ordered the hazelnut and chocolate gelato and I had the Blood orange panna cotta, both delicious and such generous serves. All in all we loved Roma. It was wonderful to see Callum working hard in the kitchen and serving meals. We loved Roma Callum.

   Service was good and friendly. Food and drink service were prompt and the atmosphere was really nice. We had the “feed me “ menu, the food was plentiful but some of the dishes had a sharp taste that didn’t enhance but at times overpowered the flavour of the dishes. However, i really recommend the kingfish dish, it was lovely and the highlight of the food served.

   My guests and I were really impressed on the quality of the food, particularly the feed me onion we chose. The service was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. Then the food,, wow it was incredible. Coming from a spoilt Italian who grew up on the best Mediterranean food, everything was perfect. I really loved the tomatoes, pear basil, onion sesame vinaigrette salad. I have never had something like that, and we really enjoyed it The service was equally fantastic. Great work team. You're on a winner! :-)
