   Rooftop Gardens is a great location, over looking the Norwich Skyline and perhaps you'd want the ambiance to compliment a special event but unfortunately, on this occasion, we found it sadly lacking. A group of four of us went at 6.30pm for a Saturday night table booking. Taking our cocktails outside onto the terrace, we found the music was loud and edgy rather than ambient and pleasant. A group of girls had been there all day making the most of the 'Bottomless brunch Offer' and they were loud, sweary and drunk so had to be asked to leave by staff (which they didn't take too well). Inside, there was a hen party (fair enough, I guess) but around the bar there were girls again, a bit drunk, a bit loud, wanting cocktails. The table behind us had a couple, swearing quite aggressively at each other. The vibe just wasn't what we were expecting and it didn't feel relaxing. We've been to the Gardens in the past, last year in fact, and it was really nice. This time, we were entertaining friends from abroad and it was disappointing. The demographic felt different and so did the atmosphere .

   Disappointing evening. Service was reasonably quick, waiter insisted in calling us Miss or Lovelies, 2 ladies of advanced years - creepy, don’t do it . Food was grim I had a pork and clam dish. Pork was dry and tasteless, potatoes were searingly hot but raw, cold pickles dumped on top of the food. Friend’s medium rare steak was still mooing. Waiter unfazed about removing untouched food. To cap it off he messed up the bill.

   Terrible experience. Feel forgotten. 1hr 5 minutes until order taken. Not that busy. Main meal came. One slice of beef - to say it was warm is being kind. I wouldn't return again!

   Great good and fantastic atmosphere. It was our first time yesterday but we will be there again for sure.

   Amazing service really nice food my mum really enjoyed it as we took her there for Mother’s Day, will definitely be back!

   Food was basic, I had a burger which was just a burger and a bun with a few chips, you get more at McDonald's for £8 this cost £18. I ordered a double rum and coke, it came in a small glass loaded with ice and i could not taste any alcohol at all it tasted just like a watered down coke. A double in a glass that big should have been strong. Not a great experience. The lady serving us was very good but the rest has made up my mind to not return. We had desert somewhere else.

   Food was overpriced and underwhelming. Very noisy, quite large groups close to our table. Service was ok.

    Incredibly friendly staff and excellent food! Particularly enjoyed their duck and chorizo rice.
