   We when here before seeing a show at Belk Theater. We both had the roasted chicken and it was really good. We also had the succotash and grids (the sides are à la carte), they are a nice size for a couple to share. Everything was really good and it was nice that we did not have to go back outside to get to the show

   Owen was a great server. Very attentive. Something was off with the food tonight. The fried oysters are my husband's favorite but they weren't as flavored as in the past. He asked for salt and pepper. I had the swordfish. I asked for lemon because the dish just needed something else.

   Our server was very attentive and very professional. Food was excellent, especially the duck and bbq chicken. Cocktails were absolutely perfect as well.

   Lackluster. Didn’t read our reservation notes. Grain dish was watery. Biscuits and gravy dish was good. .

   As always, a great dining experience. My wife and I think Rooster's Uptown is the most underappreciated restaurant in the area. Quality food, great menu, excellent service...A+

   We had a challenge upon arrival with seating as my father-in-law is extremely tall and the only seats available were booths. Had I known the majority of tables were booths I would have asked for a table - shame on me! The food was cold and it's a shame because the shrimp had potential, but they were so thin that I had to fill up on sides which were also cold. My husband later told me his porkchop was not hot either but we were off to a show and with our family from out of town, so we didn't say anything. Overall, very disappointing experience and it will likely be another 10 years before I go back.

   Such an amazing meal. Food was superb and so was the service. Kevin took great care of us. The short rib is so good, melt in your mouth.

    My team had an awesome time and the food was great. Our waitress Carlee was awesome as well. I am very glad we chose this for our end of year meeting dinning location.
