   Met up with a girlfriend. Booth by window. Her kir cocktail was lovely and my bloody mary very good, other than a little too "hot" for me.... I finished it, 'tho!. She ordered Benedicts and eggs were cooked exactly as she requested and they were scrumptious. My buttermilk pancakes were perfect. Great service. Casual setting; excellent food.

   Glad to wind down 2024 at this renovated establishment under the new ownership and management. Lots to choose from and good value for money. We tried brunch and were very pleased with the quantity and variety of food items. In fact, we couldn't even finish everything and took back small boxes (good for a snack or a smaller breakfast the next day at home!). We'll come back with friends in 2025 to try lunch and / or dinner too. Lots of space and should be fun to sit outdoors in the spring and summer too. The place was busy and it was good we made a reservation in advance. It's the Holiday Season and a lot of folks are out and about. A little patience with staff as they try and satisfy everyone will make your experience fine.

   We had a blast at 120-year-old Royal Restaurant and absolutely loved every bite. The creative cocktails from the bar were a perfect start—each one a little masterpiece. And yes, I’m about to rave about the meatloaf (trust me, you’ll want to try it). It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with a flavor that made me rethink my whole view on meatloaf. The empanadas filled with smoked brisket? Wow. So smoky, so savory, I could’ve eaten a dozen. Oh, and the moussaka was rich and comforting, with layers of flavor that were pure perfection. Bottom line: Just go. You'll enjoy it.

   The Royal Restaurant experience for lunch for three on Saturday, December 28, 2024, was superb. Service, food, and value were excellent. Management and staff were appropriately attentive . Our server Rylie even was willing to take our photo. Well done, Royal Restaurant. The Royal has been doing things correctly since 1904!

   Everything was perfect!!!! Our waitress was so great. The chef also was very nice and accommodated my daughter’s allergies. The food was great!

   Great experience for Christmas brunch today 13:15. A first visit. Highly recommended and will return. Food was delicious, staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had chicken and waffles, smash burger, and banana French toast. The chili gravy with the chicken and waffles is delicious! There is limited parking but Colonial parking garage just a short walk away. Merry Christmas!
