Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific.     Roy’s is always a great dining experience when you’re in Maui. The shot rib seafood and filet were all outstanding choices of ours. Don’t miss it when in town.

    Possibly one of the worst experiences all around. Horrible service, mediocre food, and watered down drink. Do yourself a favor and do not go. It’s sad, because Roy’s at one time was an island favorite of ours, it has sadly declined to an over priced dennys.

    We love Roy’s and never miss it on our trips to Maui. Happy to see they are back up and running a more normal place since last year’s devastating fire. Just like always — the food was really good and service was great! We will be back.

    Menu and space smaller than other Roy’s around the country. Also had a less fancy decor. Didn’t feel like we were eating in a high end restaurant like other Roy’s that I’ve been too. Server was nice and personable but lacked attentiveness. Took a long time to get refills, didn’t offer dessert menu (or free birthday dessert), and didn’t place one of our appetizer orders.

    Service and food….all excellent! Would highly recommend. The butterfish and short rib dishes were yummy!

    Cost to value a big question here. It has a nice location. The food was nice the service was nice. It was all just “nice” waited till the morning to post this. Unless you’re in walking distance, I would try another place.

    Our server was excellent. The drinks were delicious. Food was excellent as usual but a little slow getting out. We would have enjoyed seeing the sun set from the picture windows but the blinds were kept up till after it set. It felt too dark in there.

    We went for Christmas dinner and to celebrate our anniversary. My husband received the wrong drink but didn’t say anything because he was fine but they brought me out the wrong entree meaning I then had to wait. They gave one free glass of wine but I felt that more could have been done considering my spouse was halfway done with his meal when I got mine. Overall disappointing mistakes for a nice restaurant

    Always a great experience for our family! Great food, so much variety yet always high quality food and beverages. Service is very attentive and friendly. Even though it is inside, there is a great sunset view with all of the large windows. A must for those visiting Maui!

    Went to Roy's for Christmas Eve and once again it was amazing. our server was Michael and he was incredible. Very nice, very attentive and helpful - accommodated everything we asked for. Butter Fish, Tiger Shrimp and Glazed short ribs were incredible. Highly recommend.
