Rufa promises to make your senses soar with imaginative cocktails, interactive shareables prepared tapas style, and breathtaking sunset views. Located across the lawn from Jack Dusty, this restaurant boasts unmatched Sarasota Bay sunset views. Choose a beverage from the carefully curated cocktail menu, extensive wine list or one of Sarasota’s best tequila and mezcal menus. The Baja California-inspired cuisine will make your tastebuds take flight.

Rufa takes its name from the Rufa Red Knot, a shorebird that winters in the Sarasota region, notable for traveling incredibly long distances from the Canadian Arctic to South America and back again.

This restaurant does not accept reservations for the lounge or bar and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday, December 31st, 9pm to 1am. Soar in to 2025 at Rufa. Enjoy live entertainment from a DJ in the fresh air alongside Sarasota Bay. Each party will have the choice of one bottle of vodka or tequila and will receive an array of elevated mixers and garnishes. $500 for parties of up to four guests; additional guests at $100 per person.
