   Fun atmosphere...great service...good food. We had the chorizo quest, apricot habanero flatbread, seafood soup, grilled fish tacos and pork belly tacos. All were very tasty and would be ordered again except the fish tacos. I think k because they were thicker cuts of fish the marinade didn't get through to the center of the fish...needed more seasoning. Will come back for sure!

   I didn’t like that they added a 20% gratuity for my party if 5. When I asked the waiter why he said a large party. I don’t think five is a large party. Then he said it was because of a table location. I didn’t ask for a specific table. I doubt I’ll be returning anytime soon. Food was good, Caleb was very good. The restaurant tip policy is very bad.

   Premises promising on first take w/welcoming but noisy patio - though in our case heater was too far from table with no remedy so had to move indoors on chilly evening. This "surface" glitter seemed endemic overall: factory, minimum quality food made presentable (no noted provision, even on website, of food quality/source, ie., organic, grass fed, local farms fresh, whole grains, etc); indoors hard surfaces/ intrusive, overloud almost techno-like music; perfunctory, friendly enough service. Overall, typical uninspired Ventura restaurant (which is surely due to patronage preferring dressed-up cheap more than quality). Tutti's, a previous occupant of the premises, much more food and ambiance inspired yet suffered economic demise. Sadly, it's apparently a tough business in Ventura to provide inspired restaurants/restauranteurs w/high quality food and preparation and ambiance. Appearances remain "good enough".

   Friendly, competent and efficient service. Nice space, good cocktail w/tamarind and mezcal, ok mostly central coast BTG, tho unhappy to see few wines w organic grapes (or probably food). Uniformly well cooked dishes; mussels (thought a short count), conch chowder (heavy on the carrots, light on the conch), fritters, salad of arugula and quinoa, and smoked fish spread (best dish) all came at the same time. Since we’re not talking about a soufflé or rare meat, no big deal. Apple crumble undercooked but still tasty. Good coffee. Reasonable cost

   Always a great meal at Rumfish. The atmosphere is so Zen and beautiful. Get a table on the patio.

   What a cool unexpected jewel. From the moment we walked in everything was first class. Host and hostess were super nice. Waitress was nice, helpful and gave us all the time to just chat.

   The food was delicious and Martinis perfection! Had the cauliflower soft tacos and breakfast potatoes. Both delicious! The service was so good too. We will be back soon!!

    Great food, ambiance and service. I loved the vegetarian & seafood options. They have a cute/cozy patio for a date night! Will be back again!
