   What a great experience we had at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in downtown Columbus. No special event, just date night but we sure had a special experience! From the greeting from the hostess to the exemplary service provided by Michelle and her team the entire evening. Michelle’s top notch service and pleasant, friendly personality added to an enjoyable evening for us. And the food was right up to the Ruth’s Chris expectation! Can’t wait to go back!

   We were greeted promptly, and sat quickly as we walked in the door. Our server Hjen was amazing, as we told her our anniversary was coming up soon, but was not on this specific date. She still gave us a free dessert to compliment our meal. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, and gave amazing explanations of everything we were interested in. Our drinks were delicious, but the best part was certainly the Cowboy Ribeye, which came sizzling out of the kitchen, and was complimented by the Au Gratin Potatoes, and Mashimi Mushrooms. Just an absolute master piece of a meal, with great service!

   We had a very disappointing birthday. Dinner for six of us. Service was very slow when we asked for a drink. It took a long time for our drinks to come. There were only two beer choices. The server said, but then we saw other beers and other patrons hands, the whole dinner felt like The waitress was just trying to get us out of there. The French onion soup was like water wasn’t good at all. The calamari was cold. The mashed potatoes were cold. My filet was good. My husband‘s Seabass was good. My friends ribeyes were good and the tuna was good. The desserts the cheesecakes we had to tasted like onions when we let the server know our issues. The only recourse was do you want another dessert to go? No, we did not Very disappointing. I hadn’t been to Ruth Chris in 20 years, we usually go to 🥰Jeff Ruby and Hyde Park.

   It was our first time at Ruth’s and we had a great time and it was so much delicious food!! We will definitely recommend it to all our friends and family. Can’t wait until our next visit.

    Our dining experience was definitely one to remember! From our initial greeting by the manager ,the excellent service by Michelle and the perfectly cooked entrees to the farewell by the parking valets, it was an exceptional occasion. We were celebrating our anniversary. When we got to our table, there was an anniversary card greeting and confetti on the table. The wait staff was knowledgeable and so helpful, we knew we could relax and enjoy ourselves! We will look forward to returning…..keep up the great service!
