   Ruth Chris is or should I say was one of our favorite restaurants until last night. We were greeted with a friendly greeting when we checked in. Our reservation was for 3 plus a high chair for our 13 week old grand daughter. We were sat for a few minutes when a girl came over and asked us what kind of water we wanted and said she would be back with bread. All of a sudden a rather intimidating man in a hoody and winter hat approached our table and said you need to move your table because we can't have a highchair at the end of the table. I said the manager sat us here. I assumed the guy in a suit and tie at the door was the manager. This man says I am the manager. He was rude and condesending. I would expect treatment like this a Taco Bell not Ruth Chris. How about introducing yourself as the manager and apologizing for the mistake. And what is a manager at a Ruth Chris doing greeting tables wearing a hoodie and winter hat? Flat out rude. My husband was so annoyed he wanted to leave. We were sat at the last table in the back of the restaurant. We waited forever to be greeted by a server. Then we waited forever to get our drinks. My lemon drop was not a lemon drop as it had some type of glitter floating in it. I got a second one and it was bearable but not the usual wonderful quality. My husbands first rocks Rita was good but the second one was terrible. My husband got the special lobster and filet mignon with the jumbo lobster tail. The lobster was terrible. Mushy and not worth the price. We didn't complain as we didn't want to encounter the manager who looked more like a bouncer. I should have listened to my husband and left from the start. A total waste of $530. Not coming back!

   Our favorite dining experience. Ruth's Chris never disappoints. I love how my steak comes sizzling!! Never are we served barely warm food as we do elsewhere. If Ruth's stops serving their bread pudding, we will protest!!! It's the best on earth. We loved our server tonight, such a happy guy!!

   We were sat in the bar area, although there was plenty of space in the dining room. We thought this was great as we would be able to get a happy hour drink, and we sat at 5:50. Our server intentionally avoided our table until 6:00 as to not sell the HH prices. He did end up giving us the HH prices as a concession. We ordered some appetizers, and our table was stuffed with plates stacked high, no one took them until we explicitly asked. We all got the Ruth’s Classics. My steak was great, although my husband spent an extra $8 for blue cheese crust that wasn’t melted and was wedged between a room temp steak and a warm shrimp. Sad that the service impacted a decent meal so greatly.

   Dylan was a wonderfully professional waiter. The other servers as well. Food was marvelous. Thanksgiving evening was quiet and very subdued, just as I like it.

   Dinner was incredible. The filet mignon was amazing. We were a party of three and everyone had a spectacular meal. Will definitely go again.

   We felt very welcomed. Not “stuffy”. Waitress was awesome. Not too noisy. With all the very noisy restaurants we’ve been to lately, this was a pleasure. Food was delicious! We will be back!
