I had an amazing experience at Saigon Sisters! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making us feel right at home. Our table was waiting and we were seated by the owner. Everything from our cocktail to our dessert was excellent but the short rib Pho was stand out! Fantastic dinner!

Things that were good: prompt seating (had reservation) and food was good for value but not great. Things that were not so good: Some of the evening specials were not available (why would you put them on that list then?); curry chicken in salad was very salty; wine pours were definitely inconsistent (one at our table got a decent pour, where as the other person got half as much); staff were too quick to pick up our plates as if they wanted us out to turn the table quickly even though there was no one waiting; restaurant is near the Chicago el train track, so conversation was a little difficult as there were no walls (just windows) to buffer the noise. The other thing that bothered us was that the owner (husband of chef) made it a point to greet us, but it seemed unsincere as there was no follow-up to see if we were enjoying ourselves. Especially since this is a small restaurant. Unfortunately we will not be back.

Phenomenal experience. Love the family ran dynamic. The owner frequently stopped by and made sure everything was perfect. Great service and the food was to die for. Definitely try their signature dishes. Wow. Pho was delicious. I will say I’m more use to those huge bowls you’ll find in the Vietnamese community but they made the pho so well and the meat quality was phenomenal. Worth!

The restaurant had a great vibe inside, perfect for date night. Not too big inside but great music and friendly wait staff. Dan was super welcoming and explained the menu for us. My sisters and I are Vietnamese Americans so we could tell the authentic taste to most of the dishes!
