Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.

When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. The spot is nautical with a chef-driven yet approachable menu, a deep selection of spirts and an intriguing wine list. As with all of Silverstein’s places, while the food, drink and design are always top-notch, it is the warm hospitality that keeps ‘em coming back.

Waitress was very accommodating and pleasant! I ordered the Beef Ragu which was very good however by the time it came to the table it was almost cold . Waitress apologized & took one of the desserts off the bill. Overall excellent food & service!!

Love the Sail Loft. We live 5 min away so we go alot. The food is always amazing, the waiters super friendly, the ambiance is inviting. Gingerbread Martini was so good! The only thing I dislike is how close the tables are in the dining room area and Im only sharing this so you know to ask for outside dining area which is heated or a booth if you are like me and like your space. Ive always sat at the bar or outside patio so tonight was first time in dining room and I prob won’t sit there again if I can help it. I felt like I was having dinner with the people on both sides of me, it was a little awkward. Other than this I will always go back to Sail Loft (just not their dining room lol) Try the Lobster Rangoons!!!!

We had a member of our party with mobility issues. The manager was exceptionally kind and supportive in getting us situated for dinner. I was blown away by how nice everyone was. The food was delicious, exceptional quality, and generous. We had a wonderful night out thanks to your great food and kindness.

Three of the four of us ordered the steak frites. The steak was good but the French fries were room temperature. This was also tru of the fish & chips. We ate in the canopied terrace and the room was uncomfortably cold, so much so the waitstaff offered blankets to our wives. Ronda, our server did an excellent job. She was fastidious in serving us promptly and responding quickly to our requests.
