Went to Saka No Hana for a double date with my husband and another couple, love that the food is more family style and you get to share and try a little bit of everything. Very cool vibe, love the decor. The food is good all tho nothing special and drinks are also good!

The ambiance was great. The wait staff at the bar area and the sake were excellent. However, the service in the dining room was not good. It was as if they had been dressed up to look and act professional when in fact they were very unprofessional. Their attitude made their very presence annoying. The edamame dish that our waitress touted was not good and no one at the table liked it. She never came to check on us or how we liked the food. When she finally did come back it was to ask if we needed more drinks of course. We ordered another glass of sake and when she arrived she had fresh carafes but poured the new sake directly into our used glasses. We really enjoyed the tasting menu and felt that it was definitely worth the price. We had an enjoyable evening despite the servers who probably just need a little more training.

I had a dinner date with a friend and it was a great dining experience. We ordered three sushi rolls, sashimi, spicy edamame & their tuna tartare (which was delicious!). The ambiance was chill and chic and service was good. I’ll definitely be revisiting Sake No Hana!

My experience at Silverlining after my $600 dinner at Sake No Hanna was one of my worst in 13 years in NYC. I booked an “experience” where I could go to Silverlining after my dinner at Sake No Hanna. When I joined them for that experience, I was tossed around an empty restaurant and embarrassed so bad that I cried. I will never go back to any TAO property.

The service was great, the food was delicious, and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Everything was great from the complimentary chips to the dessert. We ordered chili crunch edamame (10/10), karaage chicken (10/10), short rib fried rice with bone marrow (10/10), the sea bass (10/10), and the chocolate sesame soufflé (10/10). And for drinks I ordered the Nice Drip ( almost like an espresso martini), delicious! Our server was so kind and attentive. Such great service!

Do not dine here if you’re hoping for a special experience - pains me to say as we are huge TAO group diners. We were here for a milestone birthday, arrived on time, yet were still seated 17 minutes late (mind you, most tables were open included the one we sat in). We waited insanely long for entrees and our server came over to share that there was a holdup in the kitchen, they were running behind on orders, and we could get sake on the house while we wait (keep in mind, we never received). We were unable to wait due to a show reservation that we had planned around, which we had accounted for and should’ve been able to make since we were on time for our reservation (2 hrs). Sharing this information with our server and manager, we had to cancel our dinner order since it was already 8:15pm. The manager kindly presented a complimentary dessert for our birthday girl quickly before we left, but this was not an adequate consolation for the fact that we were unable to eat dinner due to the apparent congestion in the kitchen. Several large parties were sat before we were even though we were on time for our reservation. The whole thing just didn’t really make sense. For such a classy establishment with such pleasant service and so many tables, you would expect that they could handle the bare minimum of serving a small table of 4 during a birthday celebration. We also paid $300 for appetizers and one round of drinks - and simply cannot understand how the team thought it was appropriate to drop a check this size over when they were aware of the huge mistake on their behalf leaving us with no dinner. More than the importance of money, our friend who came into towns birthday experience was truly tainted, and it felt like nobody really cared. Again, management and service seemed nice, but this lack of organization left a bad taste in our mouths and our stomachs hungry.
