    Steak was NOT medium but bloody - more on the rare side and both baked potatoes were cold - to the point that the cheese would not melt. Chicken fried chicken was excellent as was the potato soup - waitress was excellent.

    The service provided by our waiter JD was terrible. 10 minutes to get water. Brought appetizer without small plates, finish awkwardly eating appetizer by the time he brought plates. Drink order took 25 minutes. Steaks were overcooked. Telling that other staff members brought out delayed drinks and main course. JD was no where to be seen

    My experience was great. The food and service excellent. Leo our waitress offered and outstanding service. She was friendly and service with the Army Reserve. Thank you for a great experience and service. The food was great.

    Usually Salt Grass Steakhouses are very good. However, the meal at the Golden Nugget Salt Grass was extremely disappointing. My wife and I both had the tenderloin steak which was tough, gristly and poor quality. Service was only average and we felt rushed to leave. While we'll dine again at our favorite Salt Grass in Katy, TX, it will be a very long time before we try the Lake Charles Golden Nugget Salt Grass again.

    Great would go back but only down fault was the waitress we had I can’t remember name but she talked softy I would suggest her to speak loudly I couldn’t nor my husband who is deaf in one couldn’t either
