   Delicious Sunday lunch, roast beef with all the trimmings, great portion size and plenty of gravy. Cauliflower cheese and our side of pigs in blankets were amazing. We rounded it all off with a bakewell meringue and summer berries crumble and custard. Very enjoyable afternoon, would definitely recommend.

   They were having something called GALENTINES It was akin to having several hen parties in the same place It was noisy , there was a duo singing , there was dancing , and although this was fine if it was the evening, I wasn’t good at 3.30pm It spoiled what should have been a relaxed and quite pleasant meal I’d go back , as I’ve been many times before But is check what is planned before I booked

   Very loud on our visit due to a particular Valentine’s event predominantly populated with women taking advantage of the bottomless wine-fest! Good atmosphere, attentive service and great food. All in all an excellent afternoon at what is fast becoming our favourite restaurant.

   Service was faultless apart from being asked over and over if everything was ok? it was Valentines day evening and effort had been made to make it feel so. A singer was had been brought in for the evening who was very good. My Partner had no complaints about anything but I found the food lacking. I had garlic mushrooms in creamy sauce which I wouldn't describe as even being warm followed by what was basically a chicken burger and fries which cost £17. I found the burger didn't taste of much at all but the fries where at least warm and were tasty. I had sticky toffee pudding for desert which was really nice. My partner sensed something in her periphery while eating her lasagne so turned to find a woman's backside in her face who we believe was either the owner or manager leaning over a stub wall chatting to someone at at table beyond. Not good at all! Location is good and we parked with ease. It is a lovely place to eat but I have to say that we have eaten in many Italian restaurants that serve better tasting food and for less cost. The house added 10% "service charge" onto the bill without notification or agreement which we asked them to kindly remove. I wasn't given the option of serving myself so how else would I get my food if service was not included??? This really grinds my gears and finally made sure that the evening for us was spoiled. Not a matter of cost but principle. All things considered, we won't be returning to Salute at the white swan which is a pity because it is a nice place.

   probably made a mistaje going on Valentines' Day service not as bright as usual and food a little sloweer from the kitchen. Couple of dishes a little on the cool side but not enugh to make a fuss. Staff were, as usual, smiley and friendly.

   Lovely evening, fabulous food and excellent service. We asked to move tables as we were sat in the middle of a birthday party which was quite noisy. The staff moved us very quickly without fuss, very accommodating indeed and we were most grateful 🙏🏻 thank you so much ☺️

    I've been coming to Salute for 18 years and it's always a great night. The staff are friendly and attentive, the ambience is fantastic and the food is amazing. Would always recommend
