   Wanted to love it but felt like they over complicated dishes. Was never asked how our food was - which was strange. Don’t recommend the gyozas. Would order the lollipop role again. Extremely overpriced for something that wasn’t amazing.

   We were super disappointed in the new menu. Very expensive and no "normal" options. Saying that, the server was very good and allowed us to order California rolls and spicy tuna which we appreciated very much and they were excellent. Gyozas we did not like at all, they were deep fried and not to our taste so the server willingly took them off the bill which we also appreciated. The other rolls were very good but super pricey. No more brussel sprouts on the menu which was an awesome appetizer. We loved Sandfish however they're too rich for us now! Highly recommend having some more normal, regular priced roll options.

   The traffic on 111 can be a little noisy by the deck has a great vibe. The food is stellar.

   By far, the best sushi we have had in Palm Springs or state of California! Service is spectacular, the staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and a pleasure to be around. It was a Friday night that we went, they had a DJ… He had great music but so loud difficult to talk and or hear anything else. we will go back again because the food is amazing and so is the service. Hoping to go a different night where it’s not quite so loud.

   We would have never guessed our favorite sushi place would be in the desert - but Sandfish is out of this world. It's a perfectly cute venue, just a few small tables, so the service and atmosphere are intimate. We visit every time we're in Palm Springs, and we always recommend it to friends who will be in town.

   If you are looking for authentic Japanese maki or hot plates, this is not the place. Lots of sauce and peculiar ingredients that may be of interest to some, but given these ingredients, the price point was way too high for what you get. Had to go to Heyday Burgers next to get more sustenance. Service was standard and could have been more helpful in their approach. Will not be revisiting. Maybe if you want to do a full tour of high-price whiskey, this is the place.

   Our cocktails came after our appetizers and our sparkling wine came at least 15 minutes after our food which luckily was all cold so we could wait. Not our server’s fault but a very slow bar. Mark

    Unique and tasty creations accompanied by superb service! Sushi is one of favourites, but the dishes were unlike anything we have had before and the sauces were spectacular. Loved the laid back vibe on the outdoor deck curated with containers and would definitely go back!
