We had an excellent dinner and the service was second to none! Our waitress, Jessica, was very attentive and the manager came by our table several times. The meatballs, Caesar salad, and Rigatoni pasta were fantastic! The desserts were delicious, especially the tiramisu.

My daughter and I ate at Sasseta for the first time last Thursday evening. Our waiter was great- gave us recommendations and the specials with his honest opinion. The ambiance was very nice. Upscale casual is what I would say. Though there were others nearby, & we could hear them, it wasn’t too noisy and she and I had no trouble hearing each other. We started with the Burrata and it was delicious! She had the Rigatoni and I had the Chopped Salad with chicken substituting for the red wine vinegar. All was delicious and prepared in a timely manner. We both highly recommend Sasseta if you are in Dallas.

I’ve been to Sassetta’s old location a couple of times and it was great. this visit was just okay. we dined NYE and it was not crowded when we arrived. while we had a couple of servers come check on us it took 20min+ before we received our drinks (wine). Overall servers were very nice but service was slow. Food was just okay. not bad - but when you’re hoping for an elevated dinner and it feels meh it’s disappointing. The italian chopped salad was pretty good as was the burrata. for main we split the short rib - this was very fatty (i understand this is a fatty cut of meat but it was much more than i was used to) and the gnocchi, while a change up from what’s usually served with short ribs, didn’t seem like the best compliment to the meat. We also ordered brussels sprouts which were good but overly saucy. I would visit again but would probably steer towards a salad and pasta to focus more on their speciality.

Service incredibly bad. Slow, inattentive waiter. Took forever to take our order. Never asked for drink orders. Took forever to get the check. Will never be back.

Do not recommend. The level of service was horrendous coupled with food that was below average. I was embarrassed.

Terribly disappointed… wine list out of date… out of first choice, out of 2nd choice. Salad was good (how can you mess up a salad)… pasta was served cold. Would not recommend

First time eating at this location since the move from design district. The ambience and decor is nice. But the food from the kitchen was very slow. There was a long period of downtime btwn each course. The meatball and tuna tartar dish were both flavorful and nice. Enjoyed the halibut too. Was not a fan of some of the newer menu items we tried.

Went with work colleagues and had a fantastic time. Jose, our server, was phenomenal; paid close attention to dietary restrictions and made wonderful recommendations. Shared the honey and mushroom pizzas and didn’t have a slice left. The pasta entrees were fresh and delicious. Jose’s wine recommendations were spot on. And a sampling of each dessert was shared and enjoyed by all. Definitely recommend!
