   The kaisandon was amazing - the variety of fish slices (perfectly layered on top) were so fresh. The house-made pickles and soy sauce were a perfect complement to the rice dish too. My friends ordered a salmon rice dish with a unique tea broth which they loved too. We went on a Sunday night, so it wasn't too busy. Parking was a little bit of a challenge though. Will be back one day to try the popular Omakase menu!

   The omakase was exceptional here. It was a delicious meal that rivals high end sushi places in Tokyo. We had 17 dishes total for the omakase, 3 appetizers, 12 nigiri, and 2 deserts. All were very fresh and expertly garnished. We got some very fancy stuff too like sturgeon caviar, A5 waygu, uni. Overall an excellent tasting experience.

   This was some of the best sushi I d ever had. The tuna and salmon melted in my mouth. Simple menu but high quality.

   Our omakase experience did not meet expectations due to the lack of formal introduction, had disorganized timing, and an ambiance that was not conducive to such a refined experience, as it was excessively noisy.

   Came for omakase, food quality was amazing with a large selection of items that are not available at your average sushi shop. Informative and intimate experience with the chef. One thing to keep in mind is that due to Alberta health regulations, majority of the dishes are prepared in the kitchen and then finished in front of guests by the chef. It is expensive and way more than I would normally spend at a sushi restaurant but in my opinion well worth it for the experience, quality and ambiance. Pacing of the meal was very good and overall lasted about 1:30-1:45.
