   I’ve been here before and really enjoyed my experience, but our last visit left something to be desired. Our friend ordered a half rack of spare ribs, they were tough and dry. She sent them back but the second order wasn’t much better. We also ordered a salad with brisket. The salad came in a very small bowl, which allowed the toppings to spill everywhere. I asked a runner if I could get a larger bowl like the one our other guest had for her chicken tenders meal. He told me they use those bowls for other dishes and wouldn’t be able to get me one. He gave me a “to-go” bowl which wasn’t much better. Really, providing a clean bowl for a meal you just ordered was too much? On a positive note, my wife’s chicken sandwich was very good as was her friend’s chicken tender meal and as usual the BBQ sauces were exceptional. But our over-all experience was less then satisfactory. Our server was very polite and apologetic. Even though he removed the cost of the rib dinner, the price of our meal with tax and tip was about $95. We didn’t order drinks or apps, so the cost to value just wasn’t there. Which is disappointing because we go there every time we attend an event at the Honda Center. Maybe it’s time to give another restaurant in the area a try.

   Reservation was at 6PM - Showed up at 5:50. Waited until 6:30PM without being seated. So we left.

   Our server was very good but only 2 servers for the entire back room of about 15 tables. There were times we needed something and couldn’t find a server for 5 minutes. So glad they brought the loaded sweet potato back. Burnt ends were too burnt, had to pick them up with fingers because fork wouldn’t go in. Flavors were awesome.

   Overall very good. A couple of slices of brisket was on the dry side, the rest of the meat was good.

    Very understaffed. We waited 10 minutes for anyone to come by then still hadn’t received drinks (water even) until after the food came. I mentioned I was splitting a large combo with my husband. They delivered one plate to a table of 2. Super confused as any interaction we had was with a different Employee. Thenyhey asked if we wanted anything else and I ordered a cocktail because we were planning on participating in the ax throwing. We waited an additional 20 mins and I had to get up and ask to close out the check. This new guy who never stopped over the entire time said he removed the second drink order and I said. haha. I said that’s just great because you aren’t doing me any favors. He told us her was our waiter but he had too many tables. Oh well.
