My wife and I made a dinner reservation for our anniversary. We opt’d for the 4 course experience and we really enjoyed it! The food and service was outstanding. The wait staff takes good care of you and offers great suggestions on the menu items. The food pairings were well thought out and were delicious! When you plan to go make reservations well ahead of time to get the day and time you want.

We had 2 couples, all of us chose the 4 course meal. We mostly ordered various dishes to be able to sample the different presentations. Unofficial winners: 1st course-Smoked Wild Boar; 2nd course-Oxtail Dumplings; 3rd course-Flat Iron Steak; 4th course-German Cheese Cake. Wait staff was excellent in explaining each dish. Also, head chef(instructor), Hinnerk Von Bargen, also came to the table to visit including then a visit to the kitchen. Great experience and would definitely return next time we're in San Atonio.

Elevated cuisine and top-notch service. The food was all so delicious, Oxtail dumplings and the duck being two of my favorites. What we all really enjoyed was watching the kitchen in action. Fun evening!

The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Our party had the opportunity to sit close to the working kitchen and it was nice to witness how a restaurant kitchen environment works. We really enjoyed our experience.

Wonderful lunch with stellar service from Elliott and tasty food from the CIA Bakery Cafe student staff! We received an enthusiastic, friendly greeting from the lovely hostess and polite, efficient table service from Elliott. She was very patient, willing to find out the answers to our questions about food preparation, ingredients, etc...and happy to accommodate our special requests. My friend loved the winter farro salad (beautifully presented) and the butternut squash bisque. I enjoyed every bite of the delicious shrimp sandwich (excellent brioche bun and Cajun flavors from the rock shrimp) and the French omelette (it could have used more salt but that was easily remedied with a request for some to add myself) . We both purchased a few of the gorgeous, yummy pastry case items to take home. Kudos to the CIA students for their professional execution of both hospitality and cuisine! Looking forward to a few return visits before the annual cafe pop up ends!
