Wonderful meal with generally very fine service. However, the OpenTable pricing guide of $$ is hysterical. Very fine but special occasion level for most of us.

The fish was overly salted and they had so many waiters that didn’t communicate so your drinks came out with different dishes. Also the service was slow and I did not go at a peak time.

Amazing as always… staff went above and beyond and I doubt you’ll find a better beef wellington in London! Always look forward to Boxing Day here!

Overall Review: Overpriced and unpleasant—definitely not worth the cost. 1.Snacks: The venison was the only decent option. The other two were excessively salty, as if the chef mistook salt for the sole essence of seasoning. The flavors were one-dimensional and disappointing. 2.Appetizers: The pumpkin soup had an overwhelming cheesy sourness that ruined the balance of flavors. The salmon had good texture and curing, but once again, it suffered from the same overly salty seasoning, showing no thoughtfulness in flavor balance. 3.Mains: The turkey breast was the only highlight, but the confit leg was too greasy and unpleasant to eat. The Wellington beef was an absolute disaster: the pastry was loose and poorly assembled, with excessive juices soaking through and ruining its texture. The beef itself was overly soft and lacked any desirable chew or structure. The only saving grace was the mashed potatoes, which were decent. 4.Desserts: •Christmas Pudding: The brandy sauce was too thin and had an overpowering brandy flavor that overshadowed the pudding’s complexity. It failed to harmonize with the dish, leaving it unbalanced. •Black Forest Cake: While it may appeal to fans of dark chocolate, the paired ice cream was overly sour. It’s unclear if this was intentional or a mistake, but the combination of bitterness and sourness made it far from enjoyable as a dessert. Conclusion: This restaurant fails to deliver even basic culinary standards in seasoning, technique, and balance. Not a single dish met expectations. The steep prices make it an even worse experience. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

The knowledgeable, friendly staff and gormet food is always top notch. Most of all, we love allowing the sommelier to help us choose a bottle of wine. Always the high point.

Savoy Grill provides good food in a great atmosphere. However, the service is far below standards for a Ramsey restaurant. Our waiter was aloof, absent, and condescending. We had a chateaubriand, beef wellington, and pomme puree which were all excellent. Dessert, a Grand Marnier crepe, was prepared tableside by a trainee that failed to make the dessert correctly. The server knew this as he hovered by to try to correct her twice … but he failed to supervise his trainee throughout the preparation. The result was a soggy, syrupy mess that completely missed the flavor profile of a proper Grand Marnier crepe. I mentioned this mishap to the waiter who said he would inform the manager but then never returned to the table except to present the bill. When I asked where the manager was, the waiter had no response. We eat out nightly, all over the world, and mistakes happen. But what defines a great restaurant is not just great service and great food in a great atmosphere but also how a restaurant responds to a mistake. At the Savoy Grill, the response to an amateurishly prepared dessert, a visible error, was to insult the guests by ignoring our feedback. We will return to the Savoy Hotel but the Savoy Grill is simply not up to par.
