   I have heard so much hype about Scala and we made reservations to go here on a Thursday night. We got to the restaurant, in a great location in downtown Napa, and it was packed! Cute decor, super friendly staff and delicious food. I have celiac and the gluten free pomodoro was delicious! I also have the special salad (with pistachios, grapefruit, tangerine and arugula in a vinaigrette and it was very refreshing! My husband had the pizza frittata and it was like a calzone. He loved it and the people next to us asked us what it was and ordered it too. We both said we would come back here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend even if you are celiac. They had allergens (GF/DF) listed ion the menu.

   My halibut was cooked to perfection, the atmosphere was lovely, our server was friendly and helpful - altogether it was a perfect dining experience!

   Absolutely incredible experience. My sister and I were on a road trip from SF to Seattle for my 30th birthday and stayed one night in Napa. Everything seemed to close early, so we booked this cute restaurant for a later PM reservation. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs and I was given an adorable birthday card from the Scala Osteria team. When I had difficulties deciding between the ravioli and the pesto, they offered me a special birthday plate of the ravioli with the original sauce on half and the pesto on the other half. We finished the meal with espresso martinis, the doughnuts, and a special birthday gelato. This is what true incredible service is all about. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. When I come back, I will 100000% make plans to revisit. Thank you so much for a wonderful birthday experience!

   The restaurant was bustling with diners and the atmosphere was very lively. A nice place to dine for the ambiance and delicious food. However, our only one complaint -the zeppole dessert. Our zeppole dessert experience @ Scala in 2023, the zeppole was heavenly -light & fluffy. Fast forward 2025. The zeppole dessert gone wrong. It was heavy & dense and covered with 5 inches of sugar (being fictitious but that was how it looked & tasted ~Sugary & bland). Would have given Scala 4 stars but the zeppole was so underwhelming and a disappointment; especially when that was the one of the reasons why we came back to Scala - for the zeppole.

   Another wonderful dinner at Scala's. We had the table for 6 in the front corner. Started with salads, a round of Oysters and then each main was fantastic against a couple bottle of Brunellos.

    Thank you to our server Jose for the great experience, we came to Scala for my mother in laws birthday (table of 4) and we enjoyed everything from beginning to end, customer service, drinks, Appetizers, entrees and our desserts were all great, which I feel is hard to find at other restaurants sometimes, I can’t wait to be back again when I’m in town!
